Chapter 31

Taylor's POV:

We all sat in the hospital room watching Ansley while Tori slept. Ever since Jerome left , she hasn't really been involved with her. I think she just needs some time deep down. I know it hurt. She cried all that day. It wasn't her fault what happened.

Jerome and his mom came in. He looked a little uneasy but once he saw Ansley his eyes brightened.

Jerome's POV:

After talking to my brother , he convinced me to come back to the hospital and talk to Tori. I mean, I wasn't breaking up with her or anything. It just hurt to know that after me feeling like I was going to be a father for 9 months and then finding out it isn't yours. It cut deep down but I know it wasn't her fault.

I walked into the room with my mom and everyone looked at me. It made me feel nervous until I say Ansley moving in her little bed. She was so beautiful like her mother. I picked her up and she smiled when she saw me. A tear dropped from my eye. I can't have a baby messing up my thug.

"Jerome?"

I looked up and saw that Tori has awoken.

I put the baby down and went beside her.

"Baby I'm sorry. I just needed some time to think."

"No. I know you're hurt. But I didn't mean for this to happen." She cried.

"What in the hell do you mean ? You didn't meant to sleep with two men at one time and not think of the consequences?" My mom said.

"Ma chill."

"No . She probably only with you for the money. The typical hoe. She knew what the fuck she was doing. Pinning a fucking baby on you and it wasn't even yours. "

"Ma!"

"No Jerome. I got this." Tori said.

"Okay." I simply hoped this wouldn't turn into something it didn't need to be.

"Excuse me. I refuse to sit here while you call me all kinds of disrespectful names. I am not a hoe. Your son might not have been my first but he has been the only one that I've been with since we have started talking. Except one time."

"See. There it is."

"Let me finish. It wasn't planned for me to be raped. I didn't want it. I couldn't do anything about it at all. " Tori said.

My mom didn't say anything else. That's what she get for not minding her damn business. All of a sudden she left out of the room and the doctor came in.

"Here are you discharge papers. You are free to leave. We will get you and the baby all set to depart."

She got happy at the fact that she was leaving this place.

"Can you hand me Ansley?" She asked all nervously.

I handed her to Tori. It seemed like she automatically brightened up. It just made me happy to see her.

A nurse walked in with her face covered up. She looked around the room.

"My bad, wrong room."
