Once upon a time there was a girl
A cliche, I know but this girl is different
Her best friend's name is Death.
He follows her wherever she goes
He does her bidding for one day he will claim her
This girl has a favorite color
Red
Her favorite shade is the dark red that flows from the veins of her victims
Her favorite toy is very sharp
Sharp enough to get her what she wants
She sleeps all day as most girls I know do
At night she wakes and strolls about visiting several neighbors
She plays with them
Very fun games indeed
They run and she chases
They hide and she finds
They scream and she laughs
When she's done playing she shares her toys with Death
And moves on to the next house
A trail of red follows her
Marks her footsteps
The brave try and catch her
Their heads hang on her wall as trophies
She has a pet
A very big, furry beast that only comes out on the darkest of nights
His name is Terror
He has jagged teeth and huge claws
Black as night with eyes that shine an ominous yellow
He emerges from his forest home and falls into step with the girl
Screams can be heard
They see her coming
She sends Terror out to start the fun
Doors splinter and crack then fall to the ground
Blood is flying and splatters the windows
The girl laughs
A spine-tingling sound
Unearthly
Truly insane
Shadows darken the barely present moon and her laugh grows louder
Villagers quake in fear
They hope if they remain silent no harm will befall them
But that is not the case
Every last person is found and ripped apart
Red is everywhere and the girl squeals with glee
Death is very busy tonight...
But he doesn't mind
Terror has plenty to snack on
Everywhere the girl roams, a trail of destruction follows
Her path is marked by decimated towns and disembodied heads cooling in the moonlight
No one knows where she is headed
No one but me...
She is coming for you.
