Lonely Souls

Author's Note: I wrote this like four years ago, so it's a little shorter and less developed than my other poems.

Sometimes the world is a cold and lonely place, everyone desperate to find a home,

Sometimes the world can make you feel out of place whenever you’re alone,

Sometimes you feel like no one could ever understand,

Sometimes you feel like no one will be there to face it with you, and hold your hand,

Everyone feels that way sometimes; I can say that without a doubt,

But remember you're not alone; someone's always there to help you out,

Whether it's a friend, or family someone will always care,

Never feel alone, I say, never feel despair,

Someone will always be a friend to help you, and be there, so never feel alone,

A friend is always there whenever you feel like your soul has no home.
