That girl
The one who slipped by
Unnoticed
Unseen
Invisible
To the world
With her head down low
And her voice soft
Barely above the whistling of the wind through the trees
And just as mysterious.
That girl
Broken
Searching for a sign
Hope
Meaning
In this
Cold
Cold
World.
With ice around every corner
Blue as the sky
Beautiful as a snowflake
Deadly as a dagger
Her ghostly breath
The pale steam of words unspoken
Her only companion.
That girl
That girl that was quiet
That seemed meaningless
That seemed
Invisible
Has a mind
Sharper than any blade
Has a story
Millions of chapters long
Has a meaning
More than you will ever know.
That quiet girl
Has a passion
Burning
Deep inside her
Blood red flames
More vicious
Than the fires of hell
Waiting
For that one moment
That they can come out
So that quiet girl
Will be quiet no longer
But have a voice
That is more beautiful
Than you could ever imagine.
That girl
Has a dream
That will be
Her future.
Her reality.
