If you could speak loud enough in your mind, will that one person ever hear your thoughts? -Evett Castillo.

Part One
Blood rushes to my cheeks, staining them with a red tint. My lips, painted with a lush scarlet twist under my teeth as I instinctively bit my bottom lip. With my eyes watching this from the glass, I can't help but feel embarrassed at my odd appearance. I know Dagan bought it for me and said it was just a loan, but it was still a lot to take in as I fidget with the fabric.
"You look splendid." I hear Artemis say behind me, her eyes on the tailor that was fixing up the last of the stitching of the dress. I couldn't believe how fast the small woman worked, one minute she was hemming the back and now here she was fixing the bottom of it. I wonder how much of a bugger it would be to have to constantly fix clothes for a living.
"Thank you Miss Myth." I attempt at sounding grateful, but with the tight knot in my stomach and the corset cutting off oxygen, it was turning out to be quite difficult. Even trying to sigh was a battle for the life giving air.
Peeking over, I notice that the woman who was fixing the hems was already sitting up and packing her supplies. With a few quick words to Artemis the woman gives me a small smile before heading out the door, probably going home to return to her family.
Glancing down I look over the dress again. The color was a dark maroon with some silver pattern on the bodice. Though the dress didn't have a train (Thank god) it was still pretty big in a Victorian way. If it weren't for some of the expensive designing I would have said that the dress was like of those you saw at a rich prom.
I look like a dress up doll. I conclude, blushing again. The way the top of the dress was designed it felt to...revealing. I know it was probably one of the higher tops that should have meant more coverage for me but this still felt like it was going over my comfort line.
"That colour goes really well with your skin tone, but I still think you need a necklace. Your neck is too bare." Artemis states as she inspects my appearance again. "I also love how Max did your hair."
Max Spice was her personal hair stylist, a very flaming man with an strange sense of humor. If Artemis had called anyone other than him, I probably wouldn't have felt so inclined to be properly ambushed for this whole make over.
"I could go home and get a choker-" I begin, but from the look that Artemis gave me clearly stated a Hell no.
"Nonsense! You will barrow one of mine." She said simply, smiling as she went to her bathroom. I forgot to mention that this whole scenario was happening in the Myth's bedroom, a room that happened to be rather large compared to Dagan's massive space. When she came back she was holding a necklace with a red gem dangling from it.
"Its...Pretty." I said sincerely, gazing over the gem admiringly. The red jewel was with a silver vine that wrapped around it in an intricate design. It wasn't pretty, it was stunning!
"That my dear is a ruby that I got when I was your age in Spain."Artemis says as she places the necklace around my neck. I froze immediately as I turn to face to Dagan's mother, deadpanned.
"I couldn't possibly-." I stammered as the older woman just shakes her head.
"It's alright, it goes with the dress so don't worry." Miss Myth laughs as she fastens the ruby necklace. Gazing down, I see the ruby rest upon my chest, its red coloring glimmering as the room lights dance off its surface.
