So, besides the fact that it's past the time I usually head for bed and I want to bang my head into a wall, I finally updated! Sorry for how late it is. I don't even want to know how long it's been since I posted the last chapter. (I even posted the banner on the profile to keep reminding to update today.
Also if you're wondering how I'm awake, try listening to loud Japanese music and see if you fall asleep XD it works though, but gets stuck in your head like you won't believe.
I'll also post the next one and their might be a fight scene. It just depends on Amber's timing and the location.
I'm pretty sure there's been a few who got tired of me and my rants so enjoy and comment your hearts out. My goal as of right now is too see this story get to the big 100, 000. :o
PS: Thank you for the huge support and the reminders! Your the best fans and I appreciate it dearly!!

Turn the knob,
And see what you find,
But if you uncover the truth,
I'm sorry for ever doubting you.

By the time I had taken a bus and found myself in the vicinity of Janet's house, I found myself rushing towards her large family brick home and I couldn't help but wonder what could have caused my friend to sound so terrible. Never in my life have I heard my friend sound so miserable, seeing that the word had never been in her dictionary of life before.
So why was that word in it now?
'I guess I'll find out.' I thought as I knock on the cherry wood door, waiting for a reply. If Janet was willing to tell me, than perhaps there was a way I could help her.
Waiting, I hear a faint sound of a voice on the other side, one of them unmistakably Janet's.
"Evett!" I hear relief in her voice as she opens the door, her voice sounding somewhat hoarse as I take in her appearance. I don't know what happened, but she looked like a complete mess! Her short golden locks where in disarray, their ends sticking out from different angles while she still was dressed in a pair of blue plaid pajamas. Usually, even when sick or staying home she would be dressed before 7:00 am in the morning. Seeing that morning had long passed and evening had arrived and she didn't even lift a brush to her hair meant that whatever was wrong had seriously upset her normal routines.
"Janet what's wrong, why are you crying?" I asked, seeing her eyes are slightly swollen and a bright puffy red. The only answer I received was a weary look as she placed a finger upon her lip in a shush manner.
"I'll tell you in a minute, let's go to my room." Grabbing my hand as she quickly drags me through her home and up the set of polished wood stairs that climbed up to the second floor where her bedroom lied. On the top floor, there was only four rooms while on the bottom there where five.
The only thing that was up here though where either rooms for guest or studies, leaving the second completely secluded form the rest of her family.
Once we were in her room, she silently shuts the door and searches the place.
Great, now she was paranoid. Something is definitely off.
"Now will you tell me?" I insist, feeling my nerves standing on end as I watch Janet scanned the place. If I didn't know any better I'd say she was checking to see if perhaps her little brother Casper was in the room. He did love to ease drop often, but then again who know. That boy had a strange sense of humor at times...
