Chapter 7

I decide to sit in the park to clear my head.

 BING! 

I get a text message from Jai, "Listen K, I shouldn't have kissed you. Please come back its an emergency."

Sighing I stand up and head back to Jai's where hes waiting on the front porch. He's not even looking at me, I sit next to him saying ,"So whats up?" the air around us is thick and awkward.

He sighs deeply, and at this point I want to hug him, I want to comfort and care for my bestest friend, yet I do nothing but wait.

He looks at me,Jai is so fragile and loving, he's broken.

I begin, "Jai I'm s--"

Jai,again,interrupts me "Kylie I can not be your safe haven anymore, i'm leaving New York, going to Beau in Australia." His voice is cold and stern.  

My eyes are watery, my head is cocked to the side and i'm searching for words.

He stands up, "Anyway I need to go pack and don't worry, Luke and my parents will be here."

I instantly start crying, he pats my shoulder and goes inside.
