More Than Friends

Chapter 10:

I shower and throw on some sweats and a tank top. Its only Dianna and Luke, they've seen me look much worse. I throw my hair into a messy bun as I see the van pull up, smiling I rush to the door. I open the door and soon Dianna and I are,full speed, running towards each other almost falling down. She and I hug for a good minute or two before I turn to hug Luke and the kids. As soon as I turn around my heart stops, there goes Luke with the two most beautiful children I have ever seen, and on each side of him there is Beau Brooks and Jai Brooks.

Beau kisses my head, making me smile,"Happy Birthday little sister." He runs inside,probably to watch football.

Luke hugs me along with the babies in his arms, "Yeah Happy Birthday Ky."

Hugging back I laugh, "Thank you skunk." I say referring to his patch of blonde hair

Scoffing he nudges me to the side playfully then him and Dianna take the kids inside.

Its so awkward how Jai and I are just standing here with nothing to say. Its been 5 years, we've sent cards on holidays but, that is all the communication we've had. I have known the brooks family my whole life and I feel like a stranger to him. My eyes water as I cross my arms and look down. A few seconds pass and then I feel arms strongly wrap around me.

"I've missed you so much, Kylie Jenner." Jai says as he hugs me tightly.

All my feelings release as I start to cry while hugging back. "I've missed you so much more."
