More Than Friends

Chapter 14:

Jai and I wash the dishes while everyone gets ready for my party. About an hour later Dianna and Luke come downstairs in sweats with the kids.

"There's a problem with the menue we'll go check it out and you get ready." Dianna says heading to the front door.

Luke and Jai exchange a nod and it kind of makes me feel a little un easy. When Dianna and Luke exit I punch Jai in his right arm. 

"What was that for?!" He holds his arm.

I roll my eyes, "For that dumb boyish nod you and your brother always share when you guys are planning somthing." 

Jai smirks and walks away.

"HEY GET BACK HERE! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" I walk after him.

"To get ready for your party." He walks into the bathroom.

I walk into my room and my phone starts to ring. 

Answering I say, "Hello."

 "Are you ready? You only have 3 more hours. Make sure Jai and Beau are ready." Dianna is talking quickly.

"We'll be ready, thanks." I hang up.

I run to the bathroom and start to bang on the door. " Hurry up you imbebicle! I need to get ready!" 

I turn the knob and the door opens, to my surprise the bathroom is empty. I walk to Beau's room and its also empty.

I pick up my cell and call D, it goes to voicemail. "The boys are gone."
