More Than Friends

Chapter 13:

     As I walk out of the room behimd Jai, he grabs my hand. We walk into the kitchen and all eyes turn from the stove to us. 

     I scoff letting go of Jai's hand, "We're all adults, be mature. For crying out loud the twins are more mature than you guys." 

    Walking over to the living room, Dianna follows me, I plop down onto the couch and she mimicks me.

"....So, Jai?" Her head is tilted.

"Ay no se." I shrug. (Ay! I dont know.) 

"Chica te gusta de él?" She grabs my hand. (Girl, do you like him?)

My eyes water, "El es mi mejor amigo ." (He is my best friend.)

D rubs my arm,"Lo sé, lo sé, lo sé." (I know, I know, I know.")

I lay my head on her lap and Jai walks in with two plates.

"I am here with breakfast for you two lovely ladies." He walks over to us.

I sit up, Dianna and I grab the plates.

"Thanks." We say in unison.

"I would think you guys were twins." He chuckles making us laugh and then leaves the living room.

"Think he heard us?" I ask.

She shrugs.

"Aye Dios mío." I continue to eat.
