"Okay, so Miss.Sasha Roy, welcome to our school." said the Principal as they took their seats.
"Th..Thankyou..Ma'am" said Sasha in her all scared tone.
"So, didn't you feel like meeting me before you join in? I mean, we don't want our students to learn such values." said the Principal very firmly.
Sasha was confused, she thought to herself about what is it that she is fuming so much. But before she could say a thing Vivek spoke saying, "Ma'am, she was on her way to meet you in the morning, but I told her to go to the class cause the students were creating a chaos."
Sasha looked at Vivek suprisingly and just as she was about to ask something to him, he held her hand under the table to stop her in a way the Principal did not notice it.
Vivek continued saying, "She was on time, but I was interrogating her near the gate as I was not aware that we were having a new teacher in the school. Ma'am its my fault, and I apologize." And all this time, Vivek held her hand tight.
The Principal thought for a moment and said, "Okay, since this is your first day at the school I wont say anything. And Mr.Vivek, next time you see someone new in the school, remember that its not your job to interrogate them. Both of you may go now, and good luck to you Miss.Sasha". Vivek left her hand and both of them stood to leave.
"Thankyou Ma'am and Sorry too." said Sasha as she left the cabin.
They both quietly walked till the lift, and got in. After some seconds of silence, Sasha said, "Thankyou, but you didn't need to do that."
"My pleasure, yes I didn't need to, but I wanted to." said Vivek.
"I din't get you?"
"Well, that's a long story, some other time."
"No I want to know now!" insisted Sasha. And the lift door opened.
"Its time for my lecture, I have to go" said Vivek as they both stepped outside.
Sasha wanted to stop him but did not have any right to, so she said, "Okay" and started walking towards the Teachers Room. "Wait wait" said Vivek walking behind her. She turned but did not say a word.
"If you want to know, meet me in the near the gate after school, okay bye" and he rushed for his lecture.
Sasha caught herself smiling at this.
