I did leave from home to meet Vivek. Frankly, I did not know where I was going, I don't know where he stays, school closes in the evening and there is no other place I know where I could find him. But that didn't stop me.
I do remember Vivek mentioning Sky House Colony, but again, I had no idea where that was. I found a seat close to a streetlight, and finally after half hour of walking to nowhere I sat down. I had no other option than to search on Google maps. Thus, I did. An hour and 43mins later, here I was standing in the front gate of what it seemed to be a huge beautiful building. I looked for a watchman but saw none, so I walked ahead inside. I found a board of the residents names and floor number on it. I found nothing close to "Vivek", but someone named Thakur Vishwanath was staying in room 302 C Wing. On the way here I had all my hopes so high but now I was left with nothing. For some reason a tear rolled down my cheek. I kept looking at the board and sighed.
"Beta, are you looking for something?" A man spoke behind me. I wiped my tears and turned around to see a man, in somewhat his 60s I guess. He was in a khaki kurta and pants and looked concerned about a girl standing and staring at a board.
"No Uncle, nothing." I said with hesitation.
"Are you sure beta?" he asked.
"Actually, uncle, I'm looking for someone."
"Oh, does the person stay in this building?"
"I..I am not sure.."
"What is the person's name?"
I thought to myself whether it was safe enough to let a stranger know what I was doing here,But I had no other choice and moreover something made me feel that this man's concern was genuine.
"Vivek Thakur." I said.
Then, I saw the man's face. I saw the way his concerned face changed into a shock.
