Too Good To Be True.

Chapter Twenty.

Sasha looked out of her window thinking and waiting for Vivek to call or message her. She was worried and mad at him to leave school without even telling her, that too when they promised each other to continue to play.

"So who is it?" Said Mom standing right behind Sasha.
Sasha shifted for her mom to sit besides her and as she sat Sasha said, "Who is who Ma?"
Mother looked at her and simply smiled.
"Maa! Don't give me that creepy look! I don't like anyone!"
"I didn't say a thing girl!" Said Mother smiling.
Sasha looked at her phone probably for the 50th time now. Mother noticed it.
"Okay, so he is not picking your call?" Asked mother.
"I didn't call him! He should have!" And she went silent for a minute as she realized what she said. Sasha slowly turned towards her mother hoping she didn't hear what she said.
Her mother started laughing as she stood up to go to the kitchen.
"You should try calling him!" said mom as she walked out laughing.

Sasha watched the sun set slowly from her window while thinking about what her mother said. She asked herself if what she was doing was right. Why am I thinking about him? Why am i bothered about him? Is this right?

'There she goes front of me..take my life and set me free again..' rang Sasha's phone just then.

'VIVEK' read her phone screen.

"Hello..?" Said Sasha.
"Sasha I'm so sorry! Hi! I know I didn't tell you and just left. Actually I had a call from my home and I had to leave immediately. I'm really sorry."
"What was the matter? Is everything okay?"
"Everything is great. Actually, my sister is getting married. And the groom's family had to discuss something, that's it."
"Oh, okay."
"So, did you wait for me?"
"Umm..no! I just came home."
"You didn't even check for me?"
"Umm..I looked around but you were not there so I came home."
"Oh..." said Vivek.
'Why did I lie to him? Why didnt I just say that I looked for him almost everywhere! Am I afraid of something...?'

      Sasha was confused. Well, Love is confusing, right?
