"And then like every other school lovestory, we soon confessed our love for each other. At first it seemed kiddish but soon as we talked every day and as soon people came to know we felt getting closer and closer, but ofcourse it didn't last for too long."
Sasha's voice started to go weaker and slower with each word she said. Vivek sensed it and asked, "You really loved him?"
Sasha breathed heavily and said, "At that time I thought I did, but I don't really know."
"Did he cheat on you?"
"I don't blame him for falling in love.." Vivek spoke again cutting Sasha in the middle of her sentence. "Did he cheat on you?" He asked again.
"No, according to me. Yes, according to the society."
"Sasha, one last question.."
Sasha looked at the clock in front of her once again. 12:42am.
"Yes?"
"Do you still believe in love?"
Sasha herself did think about Vivek many a times but this question waked her up. She continued, "I don't know what love is. If what I had in my past is love, then I will prefer not to believe in it. And if it is something else, if it is what the novels say, if it is what the movies show, if love is something really that magical, then I would say I'd rather just sit back and see what life has for me, and maybe let the "love" find me in its sweet time."
There was a moment of silence.
"God, You're beautiful" said Vivek.
Sasha smiled and wondered what made him say that suddenly but for the sake of that calming moment all she said was, "Thankyou."

Silence never felt this beautiful.
