Sasha's mother noticed her silence and continued saying, "Sasha, don't tell me you are still upset about John."
"I am not upset about anything mom!" said Sasha in a bit louder tone.
"Okay, okay calm down darling. See, you can never deny love, if it is meant to be, it will be."
"Love? What love mom? The love that made me hate my bestfriend or the love that made your husband to leave you and me for nothing!?" yelled Sasha.
"STOP IT SASHA" said her mother and ran to her room.
Sasha too shifted her plate of rice in anger and went to her room.
The whole day passed, and both Sasha and her mother did not talk to each other when finally, around 10 pm Sasha's mother got into Sasha's room without knocking and found Sasha sitting quiet near the window with the lights switched off.
"So did I did disturb some sad film's shooting? It looks like I did." said mother smiling.
Sasha got up and hugged her mom tightly and broke into tears.
"I'm sorry mom, I didn't want to hurt you!"
"I know my love, its okay" smiled mother and wiped teardrops from her daughter's cheeks."
They sat down quiet for some minutes till Sasha's mother said, "See darling, just because of one boy, you cannot hate everyone!"
"Mom, you and dad loved each other right? But what happened? He left us! Why mom? Because there is nothing like love! People meet, love and cheat! The end! And still you want me to fall in love?"
"Everyone is not the same, Sasha."
"But mom, everyone I met in my life was just the same!"
Sasha's mother held Sasha's face and looked into her eyes and said, "Darling, love is unpredictable and at the same time beautiful too. One day, you'll fall in love and trust me that won't be the same."
