As the school bell rang, and all the students packed their bags to get home, Sasha was thinking. She was thinking whether she should wait or no. She thought to herself, "If I wait, Vivek might think that I want to know what he was trying to say..which is true, but I dont want him to know..but why? I just want to know why he helped me.. Is it wrong? Am I becoming too friendly? I just met him this morning..Wait! Why am I thinking so much? I should probably just go home."
She decided to go home, and exactly did she do.
As all the students ran home pushing and pulling, Sasha went home too. Whereas, Vivek, slowly, taking his own peaceful time to make Sasha wait a bit more, walked down the stairs, and towards the gate.
He looked here and there but found no one. He really felt that Sasha would be waiting for him, but not finding her made him a bit sad. But then he thought to himself, "What was I even thinking, I just met her today, how can we be friends this soon!" And left for his home.
Sasha reached home, all the way thinking about the day, and everything that happened. As Sasha rang the door bell, her mother opened the door smiling, with her first step inside Sasha could smell the aroma of her favourite lemon rice. And all her thoughts broke into hunger wanting to pounce into the delicious lemon rice.
Her mother smiled at the excitement of her daughter and both of them sat together for lunch and had a long chat about the day. Sasha told her mother all that had happened as she merily had her lunch.
"You should have waited near the gate, cause why would someone save a person whom they've known for just a day? He sure might have had a reason..moreover, what if he was waiting for you near the gate?" said Sasha's mother.
A feeling of guilt passed through her, she thought, what if he was really waiting? But suddenly spoke up saying, "Humanity mom! Humanity! He just tried to save me like normal good people do!"
"There was no need for him to do that, he himself said that he WANTED to! Sasha, I think he likes you, like the love at first sight" said Sasha's mother teasing her.
Sasha remained quiet on this.Hey guys, I'm sorry for posting chapters late, the internet is down!😔 Thanks for co-operating!
