About an hour later Porkchop came home or Chops as he wanted to be called "Hey y/n did you look around town?" he asked "ha yeah kind of revisited my childhood a little." I responded, Chops took of his hat and put in on the table while he sat in a chair that was next to where I was sitting, "So where'd you go?" he asked again like he wanted to see if he knew any place that I've been, so I decided to finish the conversation. "Oh my school, my old house, a tree house I spent a lot of time in , the pool, the fair that told me not to do drugs," you laughed a little and continued to tell him where you went Phillips field where I played my first baseball game with some of my friends, and the sandlot where I spent my whole summer playing baseball and trying to get a ball back from something behind a fence." I said and turned to Chops to see he was very interested to hear what you were saying but he was also confused. And then he just looked at me and said "What?!" I didn't know what part he was talking about so I just asked "'What' about what?" you said looking at him confused. "But girls don't play baseball and I've never seen a girl play ever." he said, "Ok, well I haven't really played in 10 or so years so i'm bad but I still played ball, even good enough to possibly get into the majors, but i'm a girl." I said looking at him with a minor sassy attitude. "How would you know you could get into the majors if you haven't tried?" he asked still confused. "Well I think one of my friends that I used to know was in the majors and I played as well as him." you said looking at him, that was until he had to say something stupid "Well I know a person, my friend, who made it into the majors and he's pretty good i'll see if you could bet him." he said trying to act cool, "Well what's his name?" I asked thinking it was someone I wouldn't know but I was wrong, "His name is Benny 'The Jet' Rodriguez." he said my eyes went wide and I almost spit out my water I just drank "Him? I Knew I saw him." I said as soon as I swallowed my water. "You know him?" He said and laughed at my reaction "Of course 'The Jet' I played baseball with him he actually knew that I could bet all the guys in our gang, he was a neighborhood legend. Do you know how he got that nickname?" I asked taking a sip of water, "Uh yeah he conquered the beast right? Hehe Squints told me about that." he said as I spat my water and he broke out into a laughing fit while I wiped the water off my face.
