I finally decided to make my way to the sandlot. 7 o'clock, one hour until I started I decided to take the long way around not knowing what was about to happen, a coincidence I didn't want to happen. I walked around a couple of stores but then I didn't know where I was anymore so I walked South because the sandlot was always South of my house. After five minutes I gave up. I found another person outside their house this early so I decided to ask where to go "Um excuse me do you know how to get to a baseball field called the sandlot from here?" I asked a man in a blue/green flannel under a yellow jacket, he had grey pants on with brown leather belt and a black hat on. "Oh well i'm going there right now, would you like to walk with me?" he questioned "Ok thank you very much" I said catching up to his pace "So why does a girl like you want to go to a baseball field anyway?" he asked "Oh visiting some old memories and I was wanting to see some old friends too." I said, then all of a sudden he grabbed my arm and turned me to face him "You played at the sandlot?" He asked looking into my eyes, now I knew that I had bumped into the one and only Michael Squints Palledorous. "Uh yeah," I said trying to still play it cool. "Oh God I thought Chops was lying i'm such an idiot" he said to himself "Hello Squints long time no see" I say to him. He turned back to me and hugged me It was one of the most longest hugs I'd ever had, the truth is that I missed him so much in the last 14 years so of course I hugged back. "I missed you so much, I just missed you" I know he could believe that I came back "Me too" say to him, he asked me a lot of questions on the way to the sandlot When we finally made it while we were still "So did you meet Benny yet" Squints asked "Uh yeah, meet him last night." I said to him "Well anyway we're here and I gotta coach this team" he said walking into the dugout "Wait you coach this team?" I ask "Yep they're not bad, you should show them some stuff." He says, "oh uh I don't know I haven't played in ten years" I said laughing, but Squints still wanted me too no matter what excuse I gave. So I finally gave in "Fine" I sarcastically making him laugh a little.
