"Open up! We know you're inside!" The loud knocks followed by the sound of the door handle being yanked continuously filled the quiet room. Seong Im held onto Hee Gun's arm, fear in her eyes.
He looked around the room, there was no way for them to escape. "Hide at that corner." he whispered to her.
"What about you?"
He pulled her towards the hiding spot and covered the side with a few boxes. "I'm close with them so they won't do much to me. Just stay here quietly." he said softly and covered the top with a piece of cardboard. He lined the surrounding with more boxes to make it less obvious.
"Hee Gun! Open the damn door!" Jong Kook slammed his hand against the door and yelled.
"Hyung, it's not working. Let's just smashed the door." Dong Hoon suggested. Jong Kook gathered his two other men and instructed them to break the door. They gathered a few bricks and threw them directly at the door. Cobweb-like pattern appeared on the glass door before shattering into a thousand of pieces.
"You rascal!" Jong Kook stormed into the office and grabbed Hee Gun's shirt. He punched him in the face causing him to fall backwards.
"Get up!" Jong Kook yelled. Hee Gun planted his elbows against the floor to support himself. Broken glass shards pierced into his arms and hands as he pressed them against the floor scattered with shattered pieces of glass. He got up on his feet and was instantly pushed towards the wall. "I told you not to meddle with her! Do you know how angry boss is right now? Where the hell is Seong Im?" Jong Kook barked at him.
"I don't know what you're talking about." He replied.
Jong Kook signaled one of his men over and ordered him to beat him up. He nodded to his instruction and started punching Hee Gun in the stomach. Raining down blows without mercy, Hee Gun fell back to the ground and grunted in pain.
"Hyung, if you tell us where she is, we will plead with boss to let you off." Dong Hoon stepped in and said.
"I don't know anything.." Hee Gun uttered as the man kicked him in his ribs and then his legs as he lay on the ground.
Jong Kook ordered his man to stop and stepped forward. Grabbing a fistful of his shirt, he lifted him up from the ground and pinned him against the wall. Hee Gun didn't have the strength to fight back. "Because I treat you like my brother, I'm giving you one last chance. Where is she?"
Hee Gun shook his head silently.
Jong Kook nodded his head in anger and muttered, "fine!" He let go of him and scanned the office. He noticed the black plastic bag on the ground with the tube of cream and plasters beside it. "Search the room. She's here somewhere." He ordered.
Dong Hoon and the two men started the search. They flipped over the swivel chairs and checked under the tables.
In her hiding spot, Seong Im squeezed her body as tight as possible against the wall, praying she won't be seen. Her heart thumped faster and louder as the sound of the footsteps grew closer. She slammed her eyes shut and clasped her hands together, every muscles in her body tightening. Dong Hoon stopped in front of the boxes and kicked them lightly, not enough to knock them over. He was certain that he felt something behind those empty boxes. In one swift push, he shoved the boxes to the ground.
"Oh-ho! Look what we have here!" he exclaimed sarcastically.
"Don't hurt her!" Hee Gun shouted the moment he saw him dragging her out. Her feet shuffled against the concrete floor as she tried to resist.
Jong Kook held onto Hee Gun and looked at Seong Im. "Bring them back!" he instructed.

The men pushed them towards Suk Jin and kicked the back of their legs causing their knees to buckle. They kneel down in front of him with their hands tied behind their back and their legs bound at the ankles.
"Hyung-nim, we brought them back." Jong Kook informed.
Suk Jin got up from his chair and walked to their front. Looking at Hee Gun, he threw a punch at his face causing him to fall to his side.
"How dare you betray me!" he shouted. He gestured to Dong Hoon to lift him back to the kneeling position.
"You knew clearly that you're not allowed to like her but you still did and you even created more trouble by taking her away! Such big guts you have!" He was about to give him another punch when Seong Im interrupted.
"Don't hit him, please!" She looked at him wide-eyed and pleaded.
Suk Jin shot her a glare and walked towards her. He drew his fingers down her jawline and studied her face. "I still have a score to settle with you," he said in a low voice. He could barely contained the rage within his voice. She let out a gasp as he grabbed her hair and yanked her head backwards. Her chin lifted and she was forced to look into his eyes. She thought her neck was going to snap by the immense force that he was applying on her.
Hee Gun tried to crawl on his knees towards him but was held down by Jong Kook. "Hyung-nim, it's my fault! Don't do anything to her! I begged you! The amount that she owed you, I'll pay for it!"
Suk Jin snickered at how the both of them were pleading with him for the same request. He let go of her hair forcefully, thrusting her head forward. "You said it yourself. I'll hold you responsible for her debt and I won't hurt her but I can't guarantee that he won't." he smirked and stepped backwards.
The metal gate slide opened and the leather shoes tapped loudly on the concrete ground along with more footsteps coming from the back as Jun Min strode towards the group with his men following behind. "As promised, she's all yours." Suk Jin whispered.
"What about the guy?"
Suk Jin turned to take a quick look at Hee Gun kneeling behind him and looked back at Jun Min. "You can do whatever you want. That bastard no longer belongs to my organization. So.. can you let me off this time round?"
"Since you fulfilled your promise, of course I will but just this once."
A huge smile flashed across Suk Jin's face. "As expected! Jun Min ssi is someone with a magnanimous heart! I'll be right over there if you need any help." he exclaimed.
As Suk Jin walked over to his table, Jong Kook followed behind him and asked, "hyung-nim, why are you kicking him out? He only made one mistake." he tried to whispered as softly as possible.
"That one mistake was enough to kill all of us." Suk Jin gritted his teeth and replied. He raised his hand up to stop Jong Kook from speaking further. He sat down on his chair and watched what was about to unfold in front of him.
Jun Min slowly headed towards Hee Gun. Shaking his head, he stared at him with pitiful eyes. "Looks like you got beaten up quite a lot today. Doesn't hurt to get beaten up again, does it?" he said sarcastically and kicked him in the chest.
"That was for punching me in the face and this is for interfering with something that you shouldn't have," he stomped his foot on his chest and pressed it down firmly until he was struggling to breathe. The moment Jun Min lifted his foot from his chest, Hee Gun rolled over onto his side, knees to his chest and take in a breath, desperately filling his lungs.
"And you," he turned to look at Seong Im, staring down at her. His eyes were burning in anger and it was as though he could cut straight through her with those pair of intense brown eyes. Her chest tightened and she felt a lump in her throat as he leaned closer towards her. His face just a few centimeters away from hers. "Tonight, I'll make you pay for whatever you did." He whispered into her ear, sending chills down her spine.
He stood upright and snapped his middle and index fingers together. Two of his men strode towards Seong Im and they each grabbed hold of one her arms and dragged her to the wall.
"What are you doing to her?" Hee Gun stayed lying on the floor and shouted.
"You will find out soon," Jun Min looked at him and muttered.
