I had eventually fallen asleep, but I was woken up by the sun shining through the window. It was one of those mornings, where it still smelled like rain from the previous night. I kind of liked those mornings.. they were almost as calming as the rain itself. I stood up and walked to the window as I yawned. I looked at the window.. I want to go outside so bad.. I need fresh air, but I don't want to leave my mom.. what if something happens..
She'll be fine.. I'll just go outside and come back in. I'll be fast.
I slowly walked to the door. I grabbed my jacket off of the chair, and opened the door.
Oh gosh.. okay good start Emma. Let's keep it going. Just to the desk and out the doors.
I walked up to the desk and saw a different lady then the one from last night. She was still really pretty. Dang I gotta become a nurse if they're all that good looking.
"Hi so my mom is still under so I'll be back so if I could have someone check in on her please.. that would be great."
"Um sure what room is she in?"
"Room 37"
"Okay a nurse will check on her as soon as she can"
"Thanks" I mumbled walking away to the elevator.
This is all so stupid. I just want my mom. That's all I ask for. I will be the best child in the world if I can just keep her..
