*Next day
*
Driving home from class, my thoughts are filled with her. As usual.
It's been five days since I saw her beautiful face.
Five days since I held her in my arms.
Five days since I kissed her.
I'm going out of my fucking mind.
I can't wait to see her tonight. I should go to the gym, but I would much rather be with her.
She's going to look so fucking cute bowling... Plus I will have lots of chances to openly stare at her cute little butt.
It's going to be great. She's probably going to hate it, but maybe she shouldn't have tried to push me away.
It's her own fault really.
If she didn't "need space" then I totally could have asked her what she wanted to do.
When I got her text last night, I knew I was in deep shit. Oh well. She will have to pretend she's enjoying the pleasure of my company.
It's going to be fucking awesome.
As I walk in the door, Nate steps in front of me, with Red following right behind him. "What the fuck man?" I try to walk past him, but he blocks me.
"Dammit, bro." He hisses at me. "Didn't you get my text?"
Red steps up beside him, blocking my view from the kitchen. "Ben." She's whispering too. "You need to leave. Now." She's trying to push me out the door. What the hell is going on?
"Okay, you guys are being way too fucking weird for me." I move to walk past them, but freeze when I hear a familiar voice.
"Joe?" My eyes meet hers. Fuck no. It can't be. "Joey, is that you?"
"Get the fuck out of my house, Samantha." Her mouth is hanging open, but I don't care. She needs to leave now.
Oh shit. What if Kat shows up? This is bad. Very bad.
Nate must notice the panic in my eyes because he leans in to whisper in my ear. "Don't worry about anything bro. We got ya covered." He bobs his head in the direction of his girlfriend.
"We better get going, Snuggley-bear." Red announces loudly, for our audience of one.
He smacks his arm on my back, pulling me in for a hug. "Just get rid of the bitch. And don't do anything stupid, Bro. Remember what you have with Kat."
He raises his eyebrows at me before retreating out the door behind Red.
What the fuck? Does he really think I would do that? I would never cheat in any relationship, real or not.
Especially with a lying, cheating, backstabbing bitch.
I walk towards her, crossing my arms over my chest. Her gaze flickers down, taking in my new body. She steps forward, opening her arms for a hug.
I roll my eyes, taking a step back. Stupid bitch, like I would ever touch her again.
"What do you want?" My voice colder and harder than I intended, but I don't care.
"Wh-what do you mean, Joey? You left without a word, I just wanted to see you again." She pouts, her bottom lip quivering.
"Stop the fake crying. And stop calling me Joey, that's not my fucking name. In fact you can just stop talking and leave." I'm sick of her shit already and it's only been a few minutes.
