Hi! I hope you like the new part to my story!

I received a round of high fives from everyone. James was reluctant. "Can't show a bit of enthusiasm?" I said to James. "I'm good." He replied and I laughed. I glanced at the clock and it was 11:24. "Break is almost over!" I yelled without thinking and ran out the portrait hole to the head's common room. I stopped at the entrance and gasped,"Phoenix!" The portrait opened and I ran up to my dormitory and grabbed my charms books and stuffed them in my bag. It was 11:27. I still had three minutes. I rushed out towards the charm room. I stopped at the door to catch my breath. "Professor...sorry I'm...late." I panted to Professor Flitwick. "You are not late miss Evans. In fact you are a minute early. Go find a seat." Professor Flitwick squeaked. I walked in the classroom and was surprised to see that James was already there. He was sitting in the back and he already had all of his things out. "Wh- how did you get here so fast?" He smirked and said, "secret" I rolled my eyes and he pointed to the chair next to him. I chuckled and shook my head. "Nope your turn to sit up front." He sighed and started packing his things. I picked a seat in the front and James came and sat next to me. He slouched and crossed his arms. "You can always leave." I suggested with a smirk. He straightened up and said, "well, the front is looking better and better." Then, the rest of the class started coming in. Sirius stared at James with a look of disbelief.
"What are you in the front for?"

"To sit next to Lily. Would you like to join us?" He seemed to be having an internal conflict. Finally he sighed and took a seat next to James mumbling about know-it-all's. Once everybody was there, Professor Flitwick stood in the front of the room and started talking about why NEWTs (Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests) were so important. James kept interrupting to ask the stupidest questions that had no relation to the topic. "How come clouds are white? I mean why not red or purple or any other color?" To which Professor Flitwick replied, "Mister Potter, if the questions have to relation to the current topic, do not ask them." At that point I had to cover my mouth to stop from laughing out loud. Normally I would have been annoyed that James was wasting time, but as this topic was very boring, I didn't mind. Finally the class ended and I packed all my things and headed to lunch. I would get my defense against the dark arts thing later. I walked into the Great Hall and took a seat at the Gryffindor table. A third year in Hufflepuff walked up to me and said, "aren't you Lily Evans?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"Aren't you James Potter's girlfriend?"

"No. We're just friends."

The girl looked very disappointed. "Oh. Okay." And she left. What was that about? "Hello Lily." Alice sat down next to me. "Hi Alice. Something very weird just happened. A girl from Hufflepuff asked me if I was James' girlfriend."

"Well you do hang out with him a lot...

"Ew! No Alice! I thought you were my friend!" I felt my face heating up. It was one thing when a random stranger accused me of dating James Potter, but one of my best friends...

Hi! I'm sorry if I made a few grammatical errors.
