I just wanted to say thank you for all the people who read and like my story!!

It's one week until Halloween and I'm super excited. I've loved Halloween ever since I was a little girl.  "Lils, what are you grinning about?"

"Mar, she's obviously thinking about James!" I snapped out of my fantasy and glared at Alice. I shushed her and whispered, "for your information I was thinking about Halloween and you should be quiet, we're in a library you know."

She rolled her eyes and looked at me suspiciously, "why so defensive?" I groaned and looked at them seriously. "I'm leaving. I can't concentrate." I gathered all my books and left. I dropped off my books in my dorm and decided to take a walk. I don't know why I've been so irritable lately. Nothing was going wrong, in fact everything was going great. I was getting better at transfiguration, me and James were getting along great and the new DADA teacher loves me.

So why am I in such a bad mood? I ran my hands through my hair. I groaned aloud and sat down in the middle of a deserted classroom. I closed my eyes and lied down. I concentrated on stopping thinking. Very hard to do when your  head won't stop buzzing. Sometime while doing that I fell asleep.

"Lily Evans, would you please report to the headmasters office. I reapeat, Lily Evans, would you please report to the headmasters office." I awake with a start at the magically magnified voice. "Lily Evans? Crap, that's me!" I got up and ran to the headmasters office. I've only been there once and that was because Professor McGonagall was in there and I needed to ask her a question.

I stopped at the stone gargoyle and yelled, "chocolate frog!" That's what the password was last time. The gargoyle stayed stationary. Of course it was changed from two years ago. I bit my lip and hoped that someone would come by and give me the password. "James Potter, would you please report to the headmasters office. I repeat, will James potter please report to the headmasters office." Said the dull voice.

Yay! He's been here so many times, I surprised Dumbledore doesn't invite him for tea. He definately knows the password! Or he at least might have an idea what it is!...wish he'd hurry up. I started to think of what Dumbledore might make the password. The last one was chocolate frog.... oh there is no hope! The dude is too random!

"Lily!" James was running up to me. "James! Do you know the password?"

"Er, no. But I can guess...chocolate cauldrons!" Nothing happened. "Pumpkin pasties!" Nothing occurred. "Cockroach clusters! Acid pops! Blood pops!" Still nothing. "Er, James can I try?" I wearily interrupted. He nodded silently. "Er, sugar quills?" Nope. "Fudge flies!" I exclaimed in frustration and to me and James's amazement, the gargoyle stepped aside to let us onto an escalator-like staircase.

I shrugged and walked onto it and James followed. As the escalators proceeded upward, I hummed a random tune. James looked at me questionably but didn't say anything.  When we got off the escalater, we saw a big brown door. I looked over at him and cracked up. I realized that his girlfriend got him a huge necklace that read my girlfriend gave me this. He looked at me like I was crazy. "What?" I pointed at the necklace because I couldn't stop laughing. He looked down and smiled weakly. "Oh that. Charlotte won't let me take it off." Charlotte was his girlfriend and very clingy.

When I stopped laughing I heard voices behind the door. "Who is behind the door? It wouldn't do them good to eavesdrop." Said an old, withering voice that was no more than a whisper. "That will be the head boy and girl. I have something very important to discuss with them so if you will kindly leave to give us some privacy? Will you be needing assistance?"

"No no. I'm not that aged. 340 and not getting any younger." The voices were getting closer. I backed into the opposite wall on instinct. The door creaked open and out came Dumbledore and a very old looking wizard who looked like one gush of wind could knock him over. Very frail looking.

He smiled when he saw us, "ah, are these the new head girl and boy?" He asked mainly to James. "Yes sir." He replied. "Good good. Very responsible are you? And hard working?" The old wizard questioned. "Yes sir." James repeated. "Swell. I'll leave you with the headmaster now." And he walked onto the escalator without another word.

Dumble smiled at us and lead us into his office. I started getting really nervous. Had I done something wrong? Was he here to expel me? He took a seat behind his desk. "Oh I nearly forgot." He waved his wand and two chairs appeared. "Sit, sit." He gestured to the two poofy armchairs. I took a seat and the chair was much warmer than I thought it would be. I shivered and sank lower into the chair. "Sir, if you don't mind me asking, who was that who just left your office?" James asked.

"Oh that was Professor Armando Dippet. Retired of course but he was the headmaster when I taught transfiguration. I  just wanted to catch up. Anyway, to the matter at hand. As you know, Halloween is approaching and some students have taken upon themselves to misbehave. So I would just ask you  to keep a close eye on the younger students particularly."

I let out a breath of relief. I wasn't going to be expelled. "Oh and Mr. Potter, I really do admire your necklace." Dumbledore added and I chuckled. James flushed and mumbled a quick thanks. Dumbledore gave a sigh and glanced at the clock to his right. 1:40. "Well you must be going. I'm sure you have classes to get to." He stood up and walked us to the door. "And I do hope that you both are not abusing your powers? I've had students in the past who have."

"No sir" we both said at the same time. "Good, good. Well off you get."
