Few more weeks passed, Jevanna had slowly started to recover. Everyone in the kingdom was receiving food. Jobless men were put to training in the military. Old age people were given pensions. Women were encouraged to do weaving and pottery at homes so that they could contribute to the economy. Multiple schools and training centres were made for children and teenagers so that when they reach at certain age, they could help their families.

The infrastructure of the town was put to order. Proper drainage systems were introduced because of the constant rain that had damaged the old ones. Houses for the lower class people were rebuilt, even the castle was completely modified. It now looked more 'warm and welcoming' like The Princess had suggested.

People began to rejoice, celebrating the welcoming of the lucky charm of the country. The princess attended celebration the whole day, of course, accompanied by The prince whose love for her grew stronger day by day. He was proud to have such a wife who was willing to help him in every way.

Jenavive smiled as she looked out of the window. The country looked brighter than when she first came to Jevanna. Seeing the people happy made her heart swell with joy too.

"Vive." A pair of strong arms wrapped on he waist, pulling her close to him. She leaned against his muscular frame and inhaled his musky scent.

"Yes, Mr. Reynard?"

"When would you stop calling me that?" He asked, nuzzling her neck affectionately.

"Hm... I like calling you like that. Reynard has a powerful ring to it."

"But, you've never called me by my name..." He feigned his sadness.

"Matthew."

Matthew froze. The way she said his name, he felt a strange current rush through him. Not even his most loyal nobles had ever said his name with such reverence. It made him feel warm in delight.

Matthew spun Jenavive around and stared lovingly into her eyes.

"Say it again."

"What?"

"My name."

Jenavive chuckled. "Matthew."

"Again."

"Matthew."

"Again."

"Matthew stop. You sound like a broken record." She grinned before she was pulled into a passionate kiss.

After what it seemed like centuries they slowly broke from their kiss.

Matthew smiled and touched his forehead with hers.

"Vive, you are my lucky charm. My beautiful wife and little my wild cat. You are the best thing that could ever happen to me. I want to be with you forever. I want to have kids with you, a whole bunch of them. I want to rule this kingdom with you, grow old with you. God, you've become my need, Vive."

Jenavive stood their speechless, she did not know how to react.

Matthew smiled and got down on his knee and gently kissed her hand. "Let's break the custom of marrying a widower in such a dour way. Jenavive Maria Celio, will you be my bride once again?"

The Princess's heart swelled with joy as she fell on her knees and hugged him tight. "Yes!"

Matthew laughed and lifted her, spinning her around.

They both knew they were in love but the words weren't exchanged yet.

But like always their little bubble happiness was popped when they heard quick footsteps hurrying towards them.
