I had just said goodbye to Andrea, from cabin three, and was heading back to my cabin. "Brook! Brook! Wait up!" A familiar voice called. I stopped, the snow covering my boots up to my ankles at this point.
I turned around, and saw Andrew, his hair lightly dusted in snow. "What's up?" I asked, not wanting to be in the cold snow longer than I have to. "Can I talk to you a second?" I sighed. "Can we at least talk in my cabin? It's freezing out here." I replied, crossing my arms.
He nodded, and we walked to Cabin six, considering the fact that it's closer.
I closed the door behind us, and noticed that nobody else was in the cabin. "They must be gone for winter break." I said, knowing that some kids went home for certain holidays. I on the other hand, was not. My mom had a business trip in California. We sat down on my bed, and I noticed that he was a little closer to me than usual.
"It's just cold, plus, we're just platonic." I scolded myself, but somehow, I couldn't get the thought out of my head, that we could be more than friends.
The odd thing was, I noticed that Andrea had looked really good too, and heat had rushed to my face. It had felt weird, but right. Her dark brown mane, falling down her back. Her confident stride, her gorgeous smile, she just was... well... beautiful.
But I've also been having the same thoughts about Andrew. His confident yet crooked smile, his smirk, the way my heart would flutter when he walked into the room, and most of all, the adorable, puppy like way he got excited over everything. It was so cute.
It was wierd. I mean, I've known Andrew for a while now, but Andrea seems amazing in her own way. As I thought about this, Reilly I just noticed had one arm wrapped around me. "Like you said, it's just platonic." I thought. Internally, I groaned. "Why does this have to be so confusing?" I thought.
