I had come back to my cabin, and locked the door behind me. I was ready to kill the arrogant asshole, but I didn't. I had to wait if I wanted my payback to stick. I looked on my phone in the meantime, looking at when the last time I called Johanna was.
The last time I had called her was right before I had started driving here with my mom. "Yeesh. I should give Johanna a call so she knows I'm okay." I said to myself. I called Johanna, and waited for her to pick up.
"Hey Brook! How's it been?" Johanna asked, her voice bringing me comfort. I sighed and replied, "Let me tell you, it's been... interesting." There was a brief silence, and I'm pretty sure that Johanna didn't know what I meant."Here, let me explain." I said. That's how I went on to explain everything that's happened since I've been here, in full detail.
"Dear God, no wonder you haven't gotten to call me back. You poor thing." I sighed, and replied, "Ya, especially when you have a guy with the brain size of a peanut as a friend." Johanna laughed. "What does this Andrew look like?" She asked.
I described Andrew in full detail, with his shaggy brown hair, his kind, chocolate brown eyes, and his crooked smile, that matched his trouble maker personality, and my own troublemaker smile and personality.
"Before you go on, please tell me Andrew's birthday." I looked at my calendar, and saw that his birthday is October twenty-first. "Andrew's birthday is twenty-first of October." I told Johanna. "And that bitch Andrea's?" Once again, I looked on my calendar, and saw that her birthday is November twentieth, exactly two months after mine.
"November twentieth." I heard the familiar click of a keyboard, and after a few clicks of a mouse, Johanna went, "Aha!" I asked flatly, "What is it, and how much do I owe you?" Johanna laughed. "No, it's just that Andrea is a Scorpio, and Andrew's a Libra."
Confused, I asked, "What does that have to do with anything?" "I looked up the love compatibility between the two signs, and it said that basically, I'd be kind of shaky." I laughed. "Okay. So how would Andrew and I get along?"
I heard a few clicks of a mouse, and then a satisfied, "Hmph." "What's up?" I asked, suspicious of Johanna. Even if I can't see her face, I can tell when she has a smirk on her face. "Tell me." I demanded, not allowing my voice level to rise.
Johanna laughed, and replied, "You are a Virgo, right?" I sighed. "Yes, why?" "I looked on this website, put in your horoscope and Andrew's and I found something particularly nice." I asked her what she meant by "nice."
She replied, "It says that when a Virgo and a Libra come together, it's like two pieces of a puzzle coming together." I rolled my eyes. "Are you sure that you aren't making this up?" She laughed. "Of course not!"
I rolled my eyes. "Fine Ms.Matchmaker. How do you suppose I get Andrew, after judo flipping him on the snow?" Johanna sighed. "First of all, it was Andrew that made the mistake, not you. Second, he's probably getting advice from friends, and is feeling guiltly about what he did."
"And how would you know that exactly?" I asked, feeling slightly suspicious again. "You know James?" She asked. "You mean the blondie in Cabin five?" I asked. "Yup, that's him!" I nodded. "Ya, I know the guy." "He's my step brother."
I gasped. "No way! He's Andrew's closest friend, well, besides me." Johanna laughed. "Such modesty." She said sarcastically, causing me to laugh once again. "It's been too long." I said. "Agreed."
