When I opened my eyes, I was assaulted by the sterile white room I was in, but the first person I saw was a friendly face. Andrew's, to be specific. His eyes lit up like Christmas trees when he saw that I was awake.

"Hi." I said, my voice oddly weak, and my head was pounding. "Well Sleeping Beauty, it's nice that you decided to wake up." He said, a smirk forming on his face, yet his eyes remaining wide.

"Hmph, well aren't you Mr.Charming." I replied flatly, keeping a straight face. Andrew smiled, and his eyes didn't seem so wide anymore. They seemed more... I'm not sure.

That's when a question came to my mind. "Where am I?" I know, it's kind of an important question, but I just didn't think of it. Andrew laughed, and replied, "You're in the hospital unit, back at the school."

I looked at him, confused. "Why would that be? Am I sick?" I did feel kind of tired, but I checked my arms to see if I was pale, which is a dead giveaway to people to see if I was sick.

"No, thank God. You got attacked by that perv, the guy at the coffee shop down the road. Remember? He blamed you for making him loose his job, even though he was acting inappropriate towards you."

I thought for a little bit, and then the memory came back. Sam attacked me as Andrew and I were walking back. He blamed me for loosing his job, even though he was being a perv. A shudder was sent up my spine, remembering the whole thing.

"You okay? Are you cold?" Andrew asked. I nodded. "Ya, it's just a little cold." He smiled, and I smiled back. "I'm so sorry Brook." He said, sadness spreading across his face. "Why?" I asked, taken back.

There was a brief silence. "Because our first date was a wreck." I smiled, hoping to show him that it was okay that I had gotten hurt. I mean, come on, I'm used to it by now. "Listen to me." I said, my voice seeming to get sharp.

"The fact that I got hurt is not your fault. Alright? I should've just walked away and we could've continued our date in peace. But no, I had to screw it up and-" "No." Andrew cut me off. "What?" I asked.

"No, you didn't screw up our date. No, it wasn't your fault that Sam attacked you. None of this was your fault. Okay? Stop feeling guilty about it." I smiled slightly, and when a thought came to my mind, I started to laugh.

It echoed throughout the room, and Andrew was smiling. "What's so funny?" He asked. "Well, I just found it funny that you managed to throw someone two times my size." Andrew laughed, causing me to smile from ear to ear.

"Well this'll be something to talk about."
