When we finally arrived at the school, I was stunned to see that it was set up a lot like a summer camp, with cabins and everything! "Mom, are you sure you're driving me to the right place?" I asked.
My mom laughed. "I think I'd know if I wasn't." She replied. She stopped the car and we got out. A man in his late twenties approached us. He had platinum blond hair, and stormy grey eyes.
"Hi! You must be Laura, I'm William, head counselor of this establishment." He said, shaking my mom's hand. He looked down at me, still smiling. "You must be Brooklyn! We've heard so much about you!" He said, keeping his happy demeanor.
I shook his hand, and as I was doing so, a girl came up behind him. She had brown eyes, and blond hair. "I'm Julie. I'll be showing you around." She said to me. I smiled, and hugged my mom goodbye, as I followed Julie.
"So you're Brooklyn, right?" She asked. "Yes, I am. Why is everyone so concerned?" I asked in reply. "Oh! You don't know. You're a legend!" I looked at her, confused.
She patted my back. "You'll figure it out."
