Well, merry Christmas to me. Again. This is the second time that I've gotten myself landed in the hospital unit near Christmas, and believe me, I don't prefer it. Ugh.

So, I had been sitting in my hospital room, watching the snow fall outside, when someone knocked on the closed door. "Come in!" I called, not knowing who it was, even though I had a pretty good idea.

I looked up, and saw Andrea, with her hair in a long braid. "Hey Andrea, what's up?" I asked, curious as to why she's here. Andrea walked over, and sat down in the chair next to me. "I'm sorry that you got hurt, and right before Christmas at that."

I laughed, but instantly regretting it because of my injured ribcage. "Hey, take it easy. Give your body a rest." I nodded. "Sure thing, Dr.Andrea." She let out a laugh, and smiled. After a brief silence, Andrea got up, and said goodbye, also wishing me to get well soon.

A few days later, also the day before Christmas eve, I was released from the hospital unit. I groaned as I tried to stand, seeing as I haven't stood, or moved for that matter, in three days at least, since I don't know if I was asleep for more than one day.

I'm pretty sure I was out for only a few hours, which is what the doctor said. I'm just crazy, plus my concussion hasn't healed completely yet. As I walked out of the hospital unit, I looked up, and saw Andrew standing there, flowers in hand.

"How did you know that roses were my favorite?" I asked, curious. He shrugged and replied, "Just a lucky guess." I smiled, as Andrew did something I didn't expect. What he did was pick me up like a bride, and carried me out, and back to my cabin, despite my many, many protests.
