I had sat in Brooklyn's hospital room from the moment she got here, and it had been three hours since. A few doctors had come in and out, but I still waited, not wanting Brook to wake up alone. The doctor had said that she had gotten a concussion, and her left wrist was sprained.

Besides that, the doctor said that she only had a few minor injuries, like bruises and such. Even though she sustained a black eye, she still looks very peaceful in her sleep. "You know Brook, I know you're not awake to hear this, but I just want to tell you something." I stopped, knowing that she would want to hear what I was going to tell her while she was awake.

I just held her limp hand, as she slept. "Please, wake up." I said, barely a whisper. Just like a miracle, Brooklyn's stormy grey eyes slowly fluttered open, and she smiled at me.
