Today was Bulma's 38th birthday, and as her friend, you went. Though you weren't exactly a party person. You were a little nervous to go, only because you've only met a few of Bulma's friends. Piccolo, Gohan, Vegeta, Majin Buu, and Goku were really the only people you knew. She talked about Mr. Satan, Videl, Dende, ChiChi, Goten, Krillin, 18, Master Roshi, blah blah blah. Did you want to meet them, yes. Were you nervous about them seeing your tail and ears? Hell yes.

Now at the party, you were trying to greet everyone as bold and brave as you could. You were now trying to greet a three eyed man named Tien, and his little friend, Chiaotzu. Tien held out his hand, allowing you to shake it. You did, but you had a fragile touch, where his was firm. For Chiaotzu, he only shook two of your fingers. "Hey Y/n?" Chiaotzu began. You hummed. "May I see your tail?" He asked. Tien smiled and looked at Chiaotzu. You looked at your tail and bit your lip. "If you're uncomfortable, you don't have to." Chiaotzu smiled. You took a breath and smiled.

"No. Here." You said, turning slightly so your dark f/c tail swayed. You lifted it a little, letting Chiaotzu touch it. He shyly lifted his hand, grabbing it softly. You shivered, but smiled. Tien was more curious that you had four ears. He was poking and petting them, making you purr and smile.

After they left, you sat down in a chair as Bulma announced more guests have arrived. She said that they were Vegeta's friends.

"Wow Piccolo.. That was.. Amazing!" You spoke honestly to your Namekian friend. He was just on stage doing some karaoke, and you honestly liked his singing. He blushed a light purple and walked away. You crossed your arms and sighed. "I was only being nice." You pouted and flicked your tail, noticing it hit something. More like someone.

"Oh, well excuse me." Spoke a feminine voice. You turned around and look at a man with blue skin. You smile nervously and bite your lip.

"S-sorry.. Didn't know you were there.." You looked down embarrassed. He laughed and smiled.

"Oh, that's quite alright! You must be y/n. The one lady Bulma spoke to me about." You looked up, shocked. Out of all things, why talk about you!?

"Yeah..That's me. You are?"

"Whis." You smiled and put your hands behind your back, fiddling with your own fingers. You wrapped your tail around your ankle and swiveled your foot, looking down again. Hey? What can you say? You're shy. Whis noticed and laughed lightly. "No need to be shy, dear. You already know me. There is no reason to be shy." You looked up and nodded.

"Right.." Whis sighed, but smiled.

"Y/n!?" Came a voice behind you. You turned around to see Vegeta. "What are you doing?!" Vegeta grabbed your tail and pulled you back. You yelped in pain. He looked you dead in the eyes, Whis now a few feet away. "Y/n. He is not to be disturbed, so-" "Vegeta, that is no way to treat a lady." Whis interrupted. Vegeta looked at Whis, then back to you. He let go of your tail and you held it close, petting where he grabbed it. Vegeta walked away and you sighed in relief.

"Thank you, Whis." You smiled, immediately blushing. He smiled back and nodded.

"My pleasure. Well, hope to see you around the party." And with that, he walked off. You took a deep breath and smiled, happy that you made a new friend.

You went over to the food table, looking for a snack. When you get there, you see Whis by a purple cat. They were arguing with Majin Buu. You rolled your eyes. Walking over, you heard what they're arguing about. Pudding.
