Tien's P.O.V

I fly through the sky above the beautiful spring trees. Apples grow, and fall to the ground, just to he eaten by deer or other animals. Smiling, I stop flying, and slowly lower to the grass below. My shoes become slightly slick from the morning dew. But, whether or not I like it, all of the nature calms me down. Though there is someone who makes me smile in the worst of times.

"Y/n? You home?" I ask as I knock on the door of my best friends house. Her name was y/n m/n l/n. A gorgeous girl with h/l h/c. Her eyes were a beaming color of e/c, and her voice was soft and gentle. Though, she did use it towards the enemy at times. A brave girl as well. Y/n had no fear of Frieza, even after he killed Dende and Vegeta.

In my daze, y/n had opened the door. Her laughter is what brought me back to reality. "This is the sixth time you've come over and day dreamt at the door. You're a dork." She said, poking my chest. I just smiled as she invited me in. The smell of blackberry pie instantly hit me, making my mouth water and my eyes slightly close. Y/n and Chiaotzu are the only two people that know of my love for blackberries. "I'm just putting tea on the stove. And yes, it's green tea." Y/n could read me like a book. Green tea and blackberry pie. Damn. She treats me so well.

"Y/n, you overdo yourself." I say, a big smile on my face. I sit down, the old chair creaking underneath me.

She mumbled something and her cheeks heated before speaking up. "Anyways.. I'll finish the tea, and you make yourself at home." Y/n said, and walked off into the kitchen, leaving me in the dining room. Taking a deep breath, I lean back in the chair and stare at the plain white ceiling.

'Y/n,' My mind wanders. 'you treat me like a King sometimes.. And I don't think I know why..' My thoughts were interrupted by a high pitch screeching. The tea pot. 'The tea pot.. Now I remember! We were kids..'

//Flashback//

A girl screamed from the other side of the school's large barrier. I stand with Master Tao, looking at where the scream came from. "Master? Who is that?" My childish eyes look up to him. Master Tao just laughs.

"A mere nobody! Focus on your Kikoho, Tien Shinhan." His brows furrow as I look from him to the barrier. Another loud scream can be heard. This makes even Master Tao cringe. "Fine. But be quick." I smile. I bow my head to him and run to the border. With a bend of my knees, I jump up to the top of the wall, my hat almost falling off. I use the hat to cover my third eye so people don't get freaked out.

"Hello?" I yell as I look down. I see nothing but bushes and tree tops. This makes me cross my arms. My arms quickly unfold and I cover my ears as I hear another loud, high-pitched scream. This time, words actually come out of her mouth.

"Mom and Dad, no! Someone help! Please!" That's what disturbed me. A cry for help. I'm the bad guy, though. It shouldn't bother me! But.. it does..

Standing tall, I look out and see smoke coming from the woods. I bite my lip and look back to Master Tao. He is talking to Chiaotzu, his back to me. I take it as an opportunity to jump and help the girl, but knowing I'll get a beating when I get back.

"I'm coming." I say quietly as I run towards the smoke. As I near, the air gets thicker, and it becomes harder to breath. I got there just in time to see a girl standing next to a burning house, and she was covered in black soot. That girl was y/n.
