UchihaChidori is our shoutout for this chapter! Thank you for all the votes and the comments, and the overall support. I'm getting low on requests on my list, so if you'd really like to, go ahead and drop one. Not anymore do I do Neko, however. Sorry to those I shall disappoint.

I sit in silence next to Bulma and Tapion after the alien explained everything about the creature that's wreaking havoc on Earth. He goes on to explain how half of the Hirudegarn was trapped inside him, whereas the other end was trapped inside his little brother. Tapion says that, now that the top half is free means his younger sibling has most likely passed. His story tugs at my heart, and I rest my hand on his shoulder. At first, he seemed unnerved and uncomfortable by my touch, but soon became relaxed. Bulma notices that all three of us are low on tea, and she takes our glasses down to the kitchen. Now, it's just me and Tapion.

"All of that stuff," I remove my hand from his shoulder, "you just told us, is that all really true?"

Tapion frowns and turns to look at me. "Of course it is. Why wouldn't it be?"

The sharpness of his tone takes me by surprise. "Well, I don't know. I'm just curious." I lean back so my back touches the fake leather material. "Honestly, Tapion," I start, putting my hands behind my head, "I really appreciate you doing what you're doing. For Trunks, I mean." With a smile I tilt my head over to look at the pastel colored alien.

His eyebrows are raised. "What am I doing for him?" His voice is low.

"You're like an older brother to him, even if you've only been here for a few days. I've never seen him so open and welcome to someone. It's really different when it comes to Goten, his little friend that you always see around with him. Trunks has always envied him for having Gohan, his older brother around. Trunks is like a little brother to me, giving that I kinda live here, but he doesn't feel the same wat about me. I'm not a fighter, nor do I really want to be. You guys have a really good connection." Tapion stares at me as I smile, stretching my arms up above my head, both of my elbows cracking.

He seems to register all of what I've told him, seeming sort of astonished. "You think I really mean something to Trunks, like you say?" Hope lingers in his tone.

My head bobs as Bulma comes back, a smile on her face and no more dishes in her hands. "Well, Tapion, you're very welcome to stay here for the night. Trunks would love it if you were to be here when he wakes up." The lady's voice is soft.

Tapion stands, his gaze towards the floor. "Unfortunately, I cannot. Sleeping would allow the other half of the Hirudegarn to grow too powerful and escape me peacefully. I need to leave this place, get away from here." He turns to walk down the hallway.

"Wait, are you saying you haven't had a decent night's sleep since this whole thing happened?" I boot in.

Aggression soon takes over Tapion's calm tone. "The last time I was able to rest at my leisure was when I was in that box. The only way for me to rest easy is if I were back in that music box. Either that, or I would have to be at total peace with the world around me and I don't exactly feel like my visit to this planet has been anything close to the definition of peaceful."

Bulma suddenly gasps, practically interrupting his thoughts. "Tapion, I just had the best idea." She says, walking closer to him and past where I stay seated. "I have what's left of the music box. I can build you something in resemblance to it, like a small room or something."

"You could do that?" I ask, standing up and fixing my hair.

Bulma nods, explaining how she has the pieces of the music box. "So, rebuilding it wouldn't be a lot of trouble?" Tapion's chin tilts up a little.
