Author's Note: Hi again everyone! I got some feedback on the previous chapter of this fanfic, and because of how good people thought it was, I decided to add another chapter to it! This time it's longer than the other one and I fixed a few things that were bothering some people.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this chapter, and please leave a comment and tell me your thoughts! I'd love to know what you all think and if you have any advice to make it better or if you can point out any mistakes I may have made. ^_^

After defeating the Mauville Gym Leader, I returned to the Pokemon Center to heal and rest so I could head out. I remembered where Wally's uncle said they were at, and decided to head off the next day to Verdanturf Town to pay Wally a visit.

It took me at least a day to get there, but I finally arrived to Verdanturf Town, relieved to be able to sleep in a regular bed later. I asked around town and was pointed to where Wally was staying, deciding to head over there to surprise my crush. I smiled at the thought of seeing him again, excited to tell him about the gym battle.

I took a breathe before knocking on the door of the house. The door opened and Wally's uncle smiled at me. "Oh, (Y/n)! It's great to see you again. Have you come to see Wally?"

"Yes sir. I wanted to stop by and say hi to him. Is he home?" I asked with a smiled.

"Oh, no, I'm afraid not..." His uncle frowned. "Please, come inside. Have a seat, I'll get you something to drink."

I went inside the house and accepted the glass of water he offered me as Wally's uncle told me that ever since I defeated Wally a while ago, he left to train his Pokemon and hadn't been seen since. "He was very determined, and had a fire to live ever since he got his Pokemon," Wally's uncle explained.

About an hour after, I thanked him for telling me and left the house with a heavy heart, worried about my rival. 'Just where could Wally have gone?', I asked myself in my head later that night as I tucked into bed.

I sighed deeply, staring up at the ceiling. "Wally, wherever you are....please be safe..." I said softly, closing my eyes before drifting into a deep sleep.

[Three months later...]

I returned to Petalburg City with 4 Gym badges, prepared to challenge my father, Norman, to a Gym battle. It was tough, but with the help of my Pokemon, I had finally made my way through it and managed to defeat my father. He was proud of how strong I had become, and I couldn't help but hug him tightly as we exited the Gym together.

Once outside, I noticed a familiar face nearby and when I looked over, my eyes widened. It was Wally! I thought I was going to start crying from joy. I hadn't seen him in such a long time and I had been so very worried about him.

Wally's father who was talking with him, noticed my father and I walk out of the gym, pointing us out. Wally looked over and gasped, "Ah! (Y/n)! Mr. Norman!" He smiled happily, walking over to my father and I.

"I haven't seen the two of you in some time. What a coincidence! I just came back to my parents' house to grab something I'd forgotten." My rival smiled cutely like he usually did, making my heart skip a beat.

"You look like you've been working hard, Wally. It's clear even without a battle." Norman said with a small smile on his face.

Wally began to blush a little from embarrassment. "R-really? You really think so?" He looked down and scratched his head nervously, "Hehe... Thank you! That's so nice of you to say!"

Wally's father looked over to his son with a smile. "As you can see, Wally's health has thoroughly improved. It's all thanks to you and your father. You two helped Wally catch his first Pokemon that day." He said, looking back over to my father and I.
