Quinn's P.O.V

Three days later

"Have you guys ever even been into Keene?" I asked the twins, referring to the name of the city. I raised an eyebrow. For a city, it was pretty small, but still, it wasn’t that hard to get lost. Most of it was pretty rough, lots of criminals and bombed out buildings. There wasn’t really a "good section" of it. It was mostly dirty and grimy, but I knew it like that back of my hand, and was, in a way, sort of excited to head back to it and see what was going on. At one time, it had been a popular place. Kids ran on the sidewalks, happy couples sat on the porch. But over time, things faded. People moved, businesses started shutting down and moving. Keene couldnt last without them.

"No, but we've been to loads of cities." Nicco said, and Liam nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, we've been all over. Spent  a good deal of time in Dublin, and other big cities but I'm guessing Dublin is the only place in Ireland you American's would recognize." Liam said, winking at Levy and I. Levy rolled his eyes but didn't say anything. I shrugged.

"Alright then, but no complaining about it. It's a little rough." I said, suddenly feeling defensive of my home. The twins held up their hands in a defensive gesture.

"What are we going to do there, anyways?" I asked, thinking of all the things. There weren't many.

"Well, Liam here's been complaining about getting some food for a while now, so I guess we'll go out to dinner first." Nicco said, and Liam punched his arm.

"I was not complaining, I just suggested it." Liam said, glaring at his brother.

"Yeah, suggested it about fifty times." Nicco said, and Liam opened his mouth to say something nasty, no doubt.

"If you two fight the entire time I will leave you in the grodiest part of that city and let the gangs rape you." I said, and they stared at me.

"They probably wouldn’t touch Nicco with a ten foot pole," Liam grumbled, and I gave him a sharp look. I pointed to the front door, and they trudged out, shoving each other as they went through the door. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose.

"Why did we agree to this?" I asked, and Levy chuckled.

"They wont fight so much once we feed them." he said, and I nodded.

"It's not just that." I said, looking up at him. He studied my face with his dark eyes.

"We don’t have to go." he said, and I almost melted right there. He was being so sweet. I managed a shaky smile.

"No, lets just go before the twins ruin something." I said, and he grinned at me, making me feel better. He called good bye to Mark and Maria before we headed out the door.
