As I look out of the window,
I see the exhausted yet calm figures,
Walking briskly to their comfort zones.
Not caring about the others.
They scurry around in haste,
Like hamsters in their cage.
Look beyond the eyes,
You might see some burning rage. Some might see the weary.
Some might see the pain.
Some might see the longing.
And some might think it's vain.
Is it fair to judge them?
Like they often do.
Is it fair to please them?
Like they expect us to.Mindless creatures they seem to be,
Through masked faces they see.
Virtual reality they claim it to be,
Disillusioned minds are what I see.
But isn't that how life
Is supposed to be?
Isn't that how love
Is supposed to heal?
I feel the pain, you felt before.
I see the light, you lit ashore.
I see the way, you walked long ago.
I see the love, your eyes show. They are hidden behind your mask,
Waiting to be discovered.
To reveal the real you,
And get the virtuality uncovered.
So come with me, oh mortal being,
Lets face the reality together.
I need you,
Just like the other.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everyone has a story to tell. But not all have the courage to do so. Some suppress it, whereas some hide it behind their rich, beautiful facades.
In today's world, it's difficult to tell the reality from the virtuality. We hide behind our virtual masks, basking in the false attention and glory. But rarely do we allow anyone to see the person behind those fake fronts we put up for the world.
The Masked Reality is about letting people see the real you, the one behind that masked virtuality, to see the unmasked reality.-RidhiGaur9
