I dreamt of a bicycle
Paddling in the shoreline with hips,
Trembling before I lost control
And the wave came rushing to me.
Once I had a kite in red;
My special kite, the undisputed
Beast, I saw it too
A monkey stole it and took it to the zoo.This was the tree I fell from;
The mangoes still look ripe and fresh;
I remember injuring my thin ankle
And spending a month inside for bed rest.
I have walked the streets,
But now it's much unfamiliar
Alas, than it should have been;
Alone and lost in a dream, I wander.I wish to wish for the dream
For the reality feels like a suicide;
Surrounded by reapers, dark and grim
Dream is now the only respite.--
