Cool air caressing my hair,
Nights like these doesn't seem fair,
For us to be away from each other.
If you were here,
Sitting beside me,
Looking at me,
Through that corner of your eye,
With that teasing little smirk,
Pulled up high.
I would hold your hand and pull you closer,
And cherish the experience that we'd share together.
In an eye contact,
A brief touch,
A little longer hug,
Arms tight, we would share our love.
But as you're not,
Near enough to hear my voice.
Know this my love,
From you i have nothing to hide.
I mean what i say,
And say what i love,
Because in words,
I tell you the things I wanna do,
In words I tell you the truth.

Sometimes the separation in between two lovers can do amazing things. Instead of filling their hearts with doubts and insecurities, it can shine light on how the connection they share is sweet and pure and strong enough to face any battle that comes with being away from each other.
