Chapter 21 : Cold Night

Chapter 21

<My POV>

My cold got worse and i decided to go to the doctors before dinner and back to the dorm to rest after that.

"Seon Kae Li - ssi?" the nurse called out.

"Here are some tablets that you have to take two times a day before lunch and dinner. And try not to eat to oily and starchy food." she said and i took the medicine to the cashier to pay.

I felt hungry on the bus on the way back and thought about what i should eat for dinner.Are they back home yet? i took out my phone wanting to send a message to Sehun.

Me: Sehun Oppa are you guys home? Can you accompany me for dinner?

I was about to press the send button but stopped myself. Wait. What are you doing? Accompany you for dinner? Ha! You think they are so free? I deleted the message and kept my phone in my bag. Sigh. Guess i am just going to have to cook something at home myself. The bus reached my stop and i blinked in disblelief at what i saw.

"Sehun Oppa?" i said still shock as i got off the bus.

"Hello!" He said as he walked towards me holding an umbrella.

"Wha-What are you doing here?"

"Its going to rain and Manager Hyung said you were coming back early today because of your cold. I was afraid that you would be caught in the rain again so... yeah." He said smiling while rubbing the back of his neck.

"Oh ok thanks oppa, lets go."

He held my bag for me and we both went under the umbrella as it started to drizzle. Sehun then placed his hand around my shoulder pulling me close towards him. I looked up at him.

"I dont want you to get wet." he said.

We were so close together that i could feel the warmth of his body which was comfortable in this cold weather.

The rain was getting heavier and heavier until we were even getting wet under the umbrella.

"I think we gotta run." Sehun said and before I could react, he took my hand and pulled me along as we ran. I couldn't help but smile.

The apartments was only a few meters away so we dashed for shelter as fast as we could. We were finally under shelter and we both looked at each other and laughed.

I looked down and saw that we were still holding hands.

Sehun noticed and we immedietly let go of each other. We smiled akwardly and made our way up to the dorm.

After I went to my room to change to dry clothes, I went out to the kitchen to cook my dinner.

Before I even reached the kitchen, Kai saw me and pulled me to the dining table. One the table, there was a container of porridge, a plate of fishcakes and a herbal drink.

"Here your dinner." Kai said with a smile.

I was so hungry that I sat down immedietly and stuffed a spoonful of porridge together with a slice of fishcakes into my mouth.

"Omo! Kai this is really good! Did you cook this?" I exclaimed while continuing to eat.

"Aniyo your father made it for you."

The moment I heard that, the spoonful of porridge that was about to enter my mouth stopped. And I placed it back in the container.

"I'm full." I said and stood up about to walk back to my room.

"You sure?" Kai shouted.

"Ne."

<Kai POV>

Kae Li stood up and walked towards her room.

"You sure?" I asked.

"Ne."

Obviously she was still hungry. She just didn't want to eat it. I took the porridge and fishcakes placed it on a tray and brought it to Kae Li's room.

Knock knock

"Ne. Come in."

I went in and placed the food on her table.

"Hey I know you are still hungry, here eat it ok?" I said but she just nodded while still staring at her phone. I walked to her and messed her hair.

"Oppa!" she said annoyed.

"Yah your oppa is talking to you. Eat ok?" I faked a fierce tone.

"Ne oppa." Kae Li faked a smile and looked back at her phone.

I then went to bathe.

After I finished bathing I went to get a glass of water. Just then Kae Li entered the kitchen with the tray and an empty container and plate. So she finished it after all.
