Chapter 26 : Lunch

Chapter 26

<Sehun POV>

"Hey Kae Li needs to go to the ladies." Kai said.

We nodded and went to wait at the main entrance.

Bang!

There was a loud bang that came from the club and we rushed in.

There we saw a guy on the ground and Kae Li standing in front of him.

We rushed to Kae Li's side.

"What happened?" Luhan asked.

"Ouch!Whats wrong with you?"the guy on the floor shouted.

Kae Li gave him a stern glare.

"I told you to get your hands off me."

"Bitch!"

He immediately stood up and raised his hand about to slap Kae Li when Kai stepped infront of him and held his arm.

My foot was rooted to the ground.

I wanted to step out and be the one to stop him.

Be the one to protect her.

But I couldn't move.

"What do you think you are trying to do?" Kai gave him a stern look.

He let go of his hand and he scowled and walked off.

"You ok?" I asked Kae Li.

"Fine."

She turned to look at Kai.

"Thanks oppa."

He smiled.

"We better get going before someone regconises us." Kris hyung said and we nodded.

"Let's go."

In the car.

"That was really cool what you did to that guy there Kae Li." Kai spoke.

"Ha. it was nothing."

"What actually happened? Did you fling him on the floor?" Baekhyun asked in eager.

"Yeah. Well he deserved it." She muttered.

"Woah I thought my wushu was good..." Tao let out a sigh.

I looked at Kai.

'What happened?' I mouthed

He looked back and mouthed 'tell you later.'

I nodded.

My phone vibrated.

I looked at the screen.

Kim Na In: Oppa can we meet tomorrow?

I typed 'Ok' and sent it to her.

Next day.

<My POV>

"Bye guys!" I waved to them and entered dance room 4 while they went to room 5.

"Kae li! wait!" I heard someone call before I closed the door. I turned to see that it was Kai. He handed me a tumbler.

"Here. I heard you coughing in the morning. This is good for your throat."

I smiled as I took the tumbler.

"Thanks so much Kai."

Suddenly, I heard loud exaggerated coughs coming from behind me. I turned around and saw Na In and Yeon Jae unnie.

"COUGH! COUGH! COUGH! Kai COUGH oppa! I COUGH am also COUGH having a COUGH soar throat COUGH!" Na In coughed.

"Oh... um... hi Na In." Kai stammered.

"Oppa COUGH! Can I COUGH have some of COUGH that drink? COUGH COUGH!"

"Oh yeah. I'll make some for you tomorrow."

Na In and Yeon Jae unnie burst into laughter.

I gave them a glare and smiled at Kai.

"They are just teasing you Kai."

His face got all red.

"I ... I know! See you!" and he ran off.

I could hear the sound of laughter from behind.

"HAHA!"

"Did you see how red he was?!"

I stared at them and frowned.

"That wasn't nice."

"Haha it was just a joke! I see that Kai really cares about you." Yeon Jae smiled at me suspiciously.

"Because he is nice." I said firmly.

"Ok ok lets start dance."

"Great! See you guys after lunch then!" Yeon jae unnie said when we ended.

We waved and left.

"Kae Li, you want to go for lunch together?" Na in asked. I nodded.

"Lets go!"

She grabbed my arm and pulled me to the lift.

We came out of the lift and i saw a familiar tall figure standing at the lobby.

"Oppa!" Na In dashed towards him and grabbed his arm. He turned around.

Oh Sehun.He turned around and saw me. We stared at each other akwardly for a while.

Na In noticed.

"Ah Oppa, dont mind if Kae Li joins us right?" She asked breaking the akward silence.

He smiled at her and turned to me.

"Yeah sure."

I smiled back akwardly.

"Great! Then lets go to Oppa's favourite Soondae(blood sausages) shop!" Na In exclaimed as she grabbed me and sehun and pulled us out of the building.

We reached the Soondae shop and went to get a seat.

I sat opposite Sehun and Na In sat next to him.

"Wow. I havent been here in a long time! I still looks the same as it was the last time we came together." Na In said looking around.

"We used to come here for lunch all the time. I miss those days." she continued.

I didnt really know how to react so i just smiled.

"Ajumma!" Na In called to order.

The ajumma saw her and a wide smile came to her face. She hurried here.

"Ommo! Its been a long time!" the ajumma exclaimed.

"Yeah we are back!" Na In replied.

"Ommo! You two are finally dating?"

My heart skipped a beat.

Those words were like a knife that had just been stabbed into my heart.

"Da- Dating? Aniyo! Aniyo ajumma!" Sehun exclaimed.

"Aniyo." Na In replied calmly but i could sense her disappointment.

The ajumma took our orders and went to get us some drinks.

There was an akward silence. I felt a little uncomfortable so i broke the silence.

And said,

"You two look good together though."

Ok i officially hate myself.
