Chapter 17 : Don't Go

Chapter 17

<Sehun POV>

As i walked out of my room towards the kitchen, i saw Kris hyung sleeping at the dining table.

Poor Kris hyung, he must be so tired from memorising that script...

Just when i was about to go ask Kris hyung to go back to his room and sleep, i heard something coming from the sofa.

i slowly tiptoed towards the sofa and saw that it was Kae Li.

"Umma... Umma..."

She was talking in her sleep.

"Dont Go! Umma! Please!" She was now screaming.

I shook her.

"Kae Li! Wake up! Its just a dream!"

Her eyes shot open.

"Umma..."

"Are you ok?" I asked but she didnt reply, her whole face full of sweat.

"Kae Li?" She just stared blankly at me as a tear rolled down her cheek. Her face was all red,

I placed my hand on her fore head. It was burning.

"You are having a fever..." i said as she continued so stare blankly.

I carried her up bridal style and brought her to her room.

"Sehun? What happened to Kae Li?" Suho asked as i placed her down on her bed.

"She is having a fever." I said covering Kae Li with her blanket.

"I'll go get some medicine for her." Suho offered and i nodded.

"You want some water? Wait ok? i'll go get some water for you.' I told Kae Li but as i was just a bout to go, she grabbed my wrist.

"Don't go..."She whispered.

i nodded and sat beside her on her bed.

She continued to hold my hand as her eyes slowly closed and her grip loosened as she fell asleep.

Although this wasnt the first time i saw her asleep, i still couldnt hep but stare at her and how innocent and peaceful she looked, just like and angel.

Strands of hair fell freely down her face covering her eyes. I slowly tucked them behind her ears.

I freed my hand from her grip as she continued to close her eyes, confirming that she was asleep.

I then leaned in close to her and gave her a kiss on the forehead. I could smell a nice lavender smell from the lavender body soap she uses. I smiled and i watch her continue to sleep.

Slowly, I stood up and walked out of the room, quietly closing the door.

"So how is she?" Baekhyun asked as i sat on the table for breakfast.

"Sick. i doubt she can go anywhere today." i replied.

" Aww... I wanted to bring her shopping today..." Chanyeol sighed.

" But we need to go get some stuff Manager hyung asked us to, you sure you can cope alone Sehun?" Suho asked.

"I'll stay with him." Kai volunteered.

I nodded and smiled,but deep down i felt a little sad.

'Okay there is the medicine. Call us if you need anything ok?" Kris said as he wore he shoes.

Me and Kai waved to them as they left, and it was left with the two of us and Kae Li who was still sound asleep.

"So what happened to Kae Li?" Kai asked as we both took a seat on the sofa.

I told him about what Kae Li said in her dream and how i saw her on the sofa.

"She even dreams about it." Kai whispered but loud enough for me to hear.

"You know what happened to her?" I asked and Kai nodded.

I looked at Kae Li sound asleep as I remembered what Kai told me about her family. My heart ached knowing how tough her life must have been.

I took out two tablets and softly patted Kae Li on the shoulder.

"Kae Li? Time for your medicine."

Her eyes slowly opened and she sat up on her bed.

"What time is it?" She asked.

"It's 12 pm."

Her eyes was wide opened as she quickly stood up but unconsciously lost her balance and sat back on her bed.

"Training. I need to go for training." she said placing her hand on her forehead.

Kae Li tried to stand up again but I asked her to sit back down.

"You have a fever don't you remember? I already told Manager hyung that you are sick and can't go for training later so you stay at home and rest ok? I'll wake you up for lunch later." I said and passed her the medicine.

She swallowed it and thanked me.

I walked out of her room and went to place the cup in the kitchen.

She can't remember what happened in the morning? So she can't remember how she held my hand to sleep?

My heart secretly ached.

I took out a can of chicken soup and boiled it as Kai added some brocolli and carrots and brought it to Kae Li's room for lunch. Kai later then cooked some ramyun for us.

<Kai POV>

After we were done with our ramyun, I took a basin of water and a towel to Kae Li's room as Sehun went to bathe.

Kae Li was sleeping, so in order not to wake her up, I left the lights off and sat on the bed beside her.

I soaked to towel with water and squeezed it dry. I started to wipe Kae Li's face and neck. I placed my hand on her forehead. It was still hot but not as hot as before . I also took the ice bag and placed it on her forehead.
