Chapter 9 : My Guards

Chapter 9

Three days later

<Kai POV>

The images went viral.

There were pictures of me carrying Kae Li and Luhan hugging her.

They were everywhere.

'Oppa! please tell me what is going on?

'Oppa! is that your girlfriend?!"

'Luhan Oppa ! YOU ARE MINE!'

The next day afternoon after it happened , me, Luhan and Manager hyung had to personally go to the media to clarify what was going on.

We told them that the girl was a trainee in our company and that she was just our friend which we treated like a sister and that Luhan was just protecting her from the crowd and that I was carrying her as she was injured.

This news seemed to have calmed down the fans a little but I didn't know how long this would last.

I walked out to the living room and saw Kae Li about to leave for training. the was wearing a hoody, sunglasses and a scarf wrapped around her face practically covering her who head.

I could not help but burst out laughing.

"Yah! Kae Li ah! why are you dressed like that?!" I asked still laughing so hard.

"I don't want to get my hair pulled out! did you see what your fans commented? ' I am gonna kill that bitch!' ' she is so dead If I see her.' Sorry Kai but I want to live." Kae Li said with her arms crossed.

" I'll send you to Sm ok? Now go and take of that scarf and hoody, you must be burning." I said and continued to chuckle.

"It's ok Kai, thanks."

"You won't want your hair to be pulled out right? " I said right before she opened the door.

She turned around and rushed into her room taking off her hoody and scarf.

I alighted her at the building and went back to the dorm. Everyone was up for breakfast already.

"Hey where did you go so early in the morning?" Kris asked.

"I dropped Kae Li off at the building." I said and went to get my breakfast from DO.

"Yeah I think we should keep Kae Li close to us during this period in case any saesang fans do anything." Suho said and we all nodded.

<My POV>

It was lunch time for me and I decided not to leave the building and just get some rice cakes at the canteen.

I took the lift down to the lobby and saw DO.

"Oppa, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Hi Kae Li! I am here to accompany you for lunch!" DO said cheerfully.

"Huh?"

" Just in case some saesang fan comes and pull your hair out."

Right! I almost forgot about that.

"Ok thanks oppa."

We went down to the canteen and both ate some rice cakes.

"So it has been a week since you came here, how do you like it?" asked DO.

"I really like it here. it's all thanks to you guys."

I meant it. Looking back this week, I realised how Exo made me feel so at home and if it were not for them, I think I would have been alone in my dorm by myself...bored.

Me and DO chatted until it was time for my training.

"Annyeong Oppa!"

"Annyeong!"

I went up to the language room and begun my classes.

It was dinner in no time and I got a message from Chanyeol which said that he would eat dinner with me.

We went to have bimbimbap in a near by street and talked.

We found out thatwe both loved 2ne1.

"OKOK! Wait! we will say the name of our bias at the same time ok?!" Chanyeol said getting all excited.

"Ok!"

"One."

"Two."

"Three!"

"SANDARA PARK!" we said in unison.

We laughed out loud.

"Shh..." I said and looked around.

"Oh right... Hehe." Chanyeol giggled.

We talked and I laughed at almost every joke Chanyeol said.

"I'll get going then! Someone will come pick you up later ok? "

"Thank you oppa."

We parted ways and I went up to the Singing room for practice.

"Annyeonghaseoyo Teacher Park."

I started to practicing my vocals.

"Ok! we should stop here today! see you tomorrow!" Teacher Park said and we said our goodbyes.

I was glad this was over. My throat was hurting so bad that I decided to go to the Family Mart to get some throat candies and drinks.

"Oh oh oh oh! Hurricane Venus!"

My phone rang.

It was Sehun.

"Yeobseyo?"

"Kae Li ah! I am downstairs At the lobby. You are done right?"

"Yup! I am coming!"

I took the lift down to the lobby and saw Sehun.

"Oppa!"

Sehun was wearing a cap hoodie and shades.

"Kae Li! Come on let's go!"

We decided to take the bus back to the dorm instead of the subway.

We dropped by the Family Mart and I went to get my throat candies and drinks. I saw Sehun with a basket filled with food.

"Kae Li! let's watch dramas together later ok? we can eat these while we watch." He asked.

I nodded and he smiled pulling me to the cashier to pay up.

We boarded the earliest bus that came and went to take a seat.

I started to feel hungry.

"Grrr..."

Not again!

Sehun heard and giggled.

"Hungry?" he asked.

I nodded. No point lying now...

He took out two boxes of pepero biscuit sticks.

"Choclate or strawberry?"

"Strawberry please!thanks."

He passed me the strawberry one and I opened it.

I offered him a stick, and he took it and happily ate it.

As we shared the pepero, I could not help but think about the pepero kiss that I saw on running man. I giggled.

Sehun turned to look at me.

"What so funny?" he asked.

"Nothing..." I said and started to laugh.

"You are so cute!" he said pinching my cheek.

I blushed and started to stuff more pepero into my mouth.
