I wake up to see these dark crimson red eyes staring at me, a smile appears in my reflection on the mirror and it knows who I'm staring at. They look scared tears tracing the rim of his eyes about to fall onto his cheeks, I sit up and pull him down so he can sit on my bed. Now my reflection's cheeks blush ruby red, but Soul still hasn't see the mirror. I rub his back and tell him to let go, that he doesn't need to act cool around me and he can let it all out and he does, he just lets go at my words. Tears rush down his cheeks and splash on my legs, the warmth of his tears give me goosebumps, sends chills up my back and force a smile that my reflection is happy not to have. Soul blinks his tears away, but a small collision of tears rest on his eyelashes and I turn his face toward mine leaning his head into my shoulder causing him to tear up all over again. I pull him up after a while and wipe the tears off his cheeks smiling all giddy, finally my reflection can rest easy.

"Soul what's wrong and how the hell did you get into my room?"
"I'm sorry Arisu, but I picked the lock last night Maka wouldn't let me in so I fell asleep on your couch."
"Umm alright, but why wouldn't she let you in, you didn't do anything wrong or did you say something stupid after I left to go to bed?"
"No I didn't say anything I went to the door and it was locked there was a note on the outside it said;

Dear Soul, sorry for locking you out, but I need some time to think I'm pretty sure Black Star and Tsubaki won't mind if you crash there a night or two. I just want you to know that I'm not mad at your actions tonight just sad and confused why you ran off. I'm sorry I don't understand much about you, but I trust you and know that your a good person. Just make sure you're up on time for school and aren't late you know how Professor Stein is about that and if you run into Arisu tell her that she didn't do anything wrong and we're fine.
Yours, Maka."

"Well that's not weird at all, but the piece of paper is right we don't want to be late for school or Stein's class more specifically."
"I don't want to go to school Arisu."
"Soul you have to if not for Maka or the stupid piece of paper then for me please Soul."
"Arisu I have a better idea, but it involves skipping school."
"No Soul no!"
"Come on don't you want to know what other death scythes do?"
"Yes, but not this way."
"Please if not for fun or knowledge then for me" he mockingly says.
"Fine just this once let me get dressed first okay."
"Alright I'll wait outside then."

I throw on shorts, a blue tank top and converse, by the time I'm done lacing them up Soul comes back in and motions me to hurry quickly. He pulls me up and we run outside laughing at the problems we left behind us, but I stop dead in my tracks and smile. Walking towards the ladder I used the other night to get to the woods I pull Soul up the ladder with me and sit on the edge. Soul sits next to me and sighs at the bright sunlight.

"Why did we stop Arisu someone will see us up here."
"Remember when I came here before we went to the woods?"
"Yeah what about it?"
"I used the roofs to get there faster."
"That's pretty cool, but we have to get going which way."
"I don't know, where are we going?"
"To the river downtown."
"I don't know where that is Soul I'm sure you can figure it out the building go the same way the streets do."
"Oh yeah alright follow me."

We start running downtown and jump each gap until a gap ten feet wide comes along between the Cafe and the building we're standing on right now. I run back a ways to get a running jump, 'three, two, one' I run and I actually make it Holy Crap I made it. Now it's Soul's turn he runs back about the same distance I did, but since I'm taller by an inch he probably should've went back a bit farther, he starts the run and jumps, just like I thought he barely makes it holding on by the edge of the roof. I pull him up and laugh, he just stares at me angrily at his failure. We walk down the ladder towards the river a mile from the Cafe after running out of buildings to jump from. About a few feet away we hear footsteps coming toward us Soul cusses, but to quietly for me to hear and drags me behind a tree. A man with blue-gray skin and black hair comes walking past us. The man stops right in front of the tree we're hiding behind and disappears, only showing up behind us and scaring us. Soul grabs me once again and we run past the river and outside try to get out of Death city, but the door to keep things out is locked and we're trapped with the blue skinned man only feet behind us. I get ready to fight, but Soul stops me out of curiousity I look up at him.

"We can fight him Arisu. He's a teacher from The DWMA."
"Are you telling me a Zombie works at our school?"
"Yeah, that's exactly what I'm telling you and that we can't fight him, he was a five star mister when he was alive and without misters we'll get killed trust me. Maka, Black Star, Tsubaki and I could barely win against him."
"So you're saying we should surrender? I thought you were going to show me what 'other' death scythes can do, but I guess I'm the one who's going to show you what 'other' death scythe can do."

And with that I transformed my arm into a scythe the blade is blood red with the edges outlined in white. Soul transforms his arm to the blade was blood red as well and had a black edging to the top. We were ready to fight this 'teacher' not knowing the consequences of what we have just started.

Thanks for reading Sorry Maka didn't do much to Soul, but her plan has just begun. Anyone have thoughts about Arisu and Soul or about Maka and Soul?
