Revenge

"Hey Arisu are you going to answer me?"
"Umm I have to get ready for school so I'll take to you later kay."

I turn around to open the door feeling stupid as ever. Kid grabs my arm before I open the door and turns me around. He looks at me dead in the eye angry at my mischievous acts today and last night. I look down at the ground to think and in a blink of an eye I shove Kid and the girls back a little and reach for the door again. Too slow Arisu. The girls grab my arms Patty on my left and Liz on my right, Kid walks up and puts his hands back in his pockets looking right back at me.

"What are you hiding I'm not making the girls let you go until you tell me one way or another I'll find out."
"I won't break and you know it."
"If you're hiding someone in there they'll have to come out too or get out of bed and get ready. So if you don't break your secret will identify itself."
"No it won't!"
"Fine girls let Arisu go we can deal with this later. We should get going don't want to be late."

Kid and the girls leave I wait until I can't see them anymore and open the door. Soul sits on the bed stretching his arms and neck. I hope he didn't hear anything. I grab some clothes and head into the bathroom to get changed and Soul grabs his clothes as well. I throw on a purple and black hoodie with a tank underneath, black pants and Toms. Trying to hurry I run a brush through my hair and put a little make- up on just to look nice nothing more. Soul knocks quietly on the door and I open it he always wears the same thing as a matter of fact everyone does unless it's a special occasion. I walk out of the bathroom and grab my backpack and uncover the mirror so I can see my reflection, Soul looks at me and the mirror curiously, but I don't say anything. We walk out of the flat and into the hall where Kid was interrogating me a while ago and I lock the door. On our walk to school it's silent for the most part and to be honest it's kind of weird.

"Hey Arisu what did Kid want?"
'Crap he heard'
"Nothing he just stopped by to ask if I was coming to school today."
"That's crap what did he really say?"
"Well while you were sleeping Kid came by and I don't know the real reason, but when I opened the door I think he may have seen you. Then he keep asking me what I was hiding and I didn't tell him anything though. He left after a while, but I know he'll bother us at school so whatever you do don't say anything kay."
"Alright."

We walk into the Crescent moon classroom right when the early bell rings. I sit down in my normal stop between Maka and Tsubaki and they glance at me, Maka angrily and Tsubaki looks worried for me. I ignore Tsubaki and Maka and look down towards Pro. Stein and his lesson on Soul resonance. About an hour goes by before he ask for an assistant a kid down a few rows raise her hand and walks toward Stein. A girl with shoulder length choppy brown hair follows the first girl who had the same length hair, but pink instead of brown and wearing the same outfit. They stand side by side and Stein speaks again about resonating soul wavelengths without harming you or your partner. He points to the girls signaling them to begin like they planned it together.

"Hello I'm Kim" the pink haired girl says "and this is my weapon Jacqueline, but I call her Jackie."
"Hi" the brunette says I'm guessing it's Jackie.
"We'll be demonstrating Soul resonance today."

Jackie transforms into a square lantern and falls into Kim's hand.

"Soul resonance Change Pixy!"

The lantern lights up and Kim hops on the flames from Jackie eventually starting the wooden floor on fire and thats when the girls end their Soul resonance. Pro. Stein reacts quickly to put out the fire and right when he's finished the fire alarms go off. We all get up and rush to the main entrance where all the other students and staff push to get out safely. Now filing into single file and calmly walking fast out both doors we make it out fine as well as everyone else. A crackling sound from the speakers is followed with Lord Death's voice.

"False alarm everyone you may continue on with what you were doing prior to this mishap."

The speakers fade out with the same crackling and a screeching bell for Lunch. I walk towards the cafeteria turning around to watch my back so Maka can't sneak up on me or Kid, Liz and Patty. Sure enough I look forwards and walk into the cafeteria causing me to bump into Crona. Crap! Wherever Crona is Maka is sure to follow they're best friends of course if I found one I'd find the other. I apologise to Crona and run off into a random line of people for food, lucky for me I don't care what I'm eating. I turn out to be in a line for Sushi and I order half a California roll for Lunch. I pay for the food, thank the chef and walk towards an empty table by the window and sit down to eat. As I begin to eat I fell four people walk by me and sit down, three across from me and one next to me. By temptation I look up. Crap! Kid, Liz and Patty are the three across from me which means, I look to my right and see Soul sitting next to me. Someone just find Maka and end my misery.

"Hey what's up" I ask.
"Nothing just eating" Soul and Kid reply sarcastically.
"Alright sure."

I start to eat again and find a small note in one of my rolls weird. Dissecting my roll and grabbing the note I make everyone laugh and then turn pale from remembering Stein's last dissection on a pig. Thinking about it makes me turn a light green and I pinch the bridge of my nose. I unfold the note and see Maka's handwriting and a small MA on the front. The note reads;

'Dear Arisu, you may have everyone fooled, but not me. I don't know how you were able to trick even Lord Death, but I can sense it. We're not much different you and I. I can see souls waves and you can sense them. I don't like you and I know Sid didn't take care of you and Soul at the river you're both too stubborn and competitive to lose or give in. So I sent Kid after you two he puts on quite the show don't you think. I have the upper hand on you two and know we'll see what you can do about it. I know your secrets both of them and you should probably get rid of this note somehow. You don't want anyone to find out do you? Meet me at the river tonight at 11pm.

I crumple the note up and shove it in my pocket without a care that it's been in a sushi roll. Picking up another piece of sushi and taking a bite almost breaking the chopsticks from the anger I'm holding in. My mirror never liked holding in anger or jealousy so it leaves me with them and they never end well. Soul and Kid talk about some stupid mission that another newbie took on last night. They haven't seen her since and Liz and Patty talk about make-up, nail polish, etc....

What's Maka planning? Who's the newbie? Did Kid really go behind Soul and Arisu's backs?
