Clarke
The wreckage was deafening. When she had finally climbed up the crater she gasped at what laid in its fiery interior.
"Oh my god," she whispered, her hand hovering over her mouth
She glanced over at Bellamy, his eyes betraying his cool face. He was just as worried as she was. Nonetheless, he was the first to speak, "How long has it been here?"
Raven answered, "I saw it fall about three hours ago, 'round 8" she adjusted her space suit
"Why're you wearing that?" he asked
"Because, I'm hoping i can salvage some hydrazine to make some bombs,"
That caught Monty's attention, "Bombs?"
"Yes. Bombs. In case Grounders decide to attack again-" Raven was cut off
"Which they will." Octavia jutted out her chin in a silly attempt to make herself appear taller
Clarke came to her senses, pushing other thoughts out her mind, "Wait. What?"
She climbed over to Octavia, pushing the other campers away, "The Grounders are gonna attack again?"
"Lincoln tells me they're preparing for something. An attack maybe."
She bit her lip to calm her temper, "And you didn't think of sharing this information with us?"
Octavia blinked.
Clarke's right eye twitched as she smiled, "Raven," she turned her attention towards her before she could smack Octavia, "How're you gonna get the hydrazine. Even if you find any, which I highly doubt, going in their would be suicidal. It's probably soaked in poison."
"Which is why," she tapped her helmet, "I brought this."
Bellamy intervened, "But the glass cracked when you crash landed."
"Nothing a little duct tape can't fix." she said, holding up the helmet, showing her taped 'x' over the helmet
Jasper face-palmed himself, "You can't be serious."
Trinity, a small mousy girl grimaced, "She is. She's a mechanic, they're all crazy."
"Hey," Raven said, "When you put it like that."
"I'm only saying-"
"Stop, stop it." Clarke massaged her temples
She recognized the wreckage, it was from the quarantine section, the same section her mom worked in. She remembered how devoted her mom was to her research, how she would be willing to do anything to cure the people in the ark. Somehow Clarke just knew, she had gone to far, and this was her punishment. She almost choked at the thought and a shudder ran down along her back.
Clarke looked down at the scattered bodies and something clicked. The ark was dying. It was the only possible explanation for a wreckage this size and from that particular zone of the ark.
"Okay," she said raising her voice, "Everyone, I need you to listen to me very carefully."
The few campers they had brought with them silenced, "something his happening up at the ark and it's essential that we find means to contact them. I know why this is here and I know that Chancellor Jaha and his adviser, Marcus will only send down more. Monty, Jasper, Trinity, and anyone else who has experience with engineering and technology, I want you to go back to camp with them and start building a radio," murmurs weaved across the group, "I will explain everything back at camp, so please, just trust me," The three and two more left without a word, "Miller, Luke, Dante, Rebecca and Roma, I want you guys to scout the woods surrounding the crater, check for any debris that you might think is useful and watch if any Grounders are out there," the five of them shouldered their guns and left, "The rest of you go back and tell the campers to start fortifications on the wall and the tunnels." the remaining six dispersed into the trees leaving only her, Bellamy, Octavia and Raven.
