Bellamy
Bellamy walked into the drop ship, his eyes scanning the area for Clarke. He sucked in his breath when he didn't find her in her usual cot.
"Monty!" he called, "Where's Clarke?"
Monty walked over to him, a bottle of alcohol in his hand, "She left a about an hour ago."
"What?" Bellamy said putting his hands on his hips, "You let her leave?"
"As her doctor," Monty sighed setting the bottle down, "She was healthy enough to leave, and she hated being in here, so I let her go."
Bellamy rolled his eyes and left.
"Hey," he saw Octavia, "Have you seen Clarke?"
Octavia giggled, Bellamy huffed, "O I'm being serious, have you seen her."
"Last time I saw her she was pissed. She's with the campers cutting the wood."
Bellamy smiled and jogged towards the wood cite; there he saw her, standing on a pile of woods. He stopped mid-jog and caught his breath. She was beautiful. Her reddish blonde hair gleamed in the sunlight, he had never seen a girl with such an intense and determined face like hers; she wasn't wearing her jacket and he saw the shine of sweat of her arms and neck. She had rolled her sleeves past her elbows and her hair was tied up. The way she held herself it was-
Clarke turned to him, he held her gaze. The amount of anger she threw at him in one glance was enough to make him stumble, and he did. Bellamy furrowed his brows and took a step backwards, Clarke turned her head away and continued to call out orders.
"Clarke," he said walking towards her, "How do you feel?"
"Fine. You?"
Bellamy snorted, "You're making small talk with me now?"
"It was a simple question Bellamy." Clarke said crossing her arms
"Have I done something to offend you?"
"Actually yes. Yes you have. You are a liar. You are lying to Octavia and to yourself." she blurted out
Bellamy cocked his brows, "Really? How?"
"Why do you always feel the need to prove yourself. Do you think sleeping with every single freaking girl will get you somewhere. There's nothing here for us Bellamy, we're all alone down here. On earth we don't have the arc, we don't have a chancellor. All we have are Grounders and last time I checked they aren't our friends. So why the hell are you so concentrated on fitting in with the campers?!" the campers had ceased their talks, all eyes were on them, their two leaders. Clarke breathed heavily and glared at Bellamy.
"Do not start to even understand what I have gone through Clarke, to get where I am today," Bellamy said quietly, "Do you think I'm happy? Do you think I like this?" he whispered, "I do what I have to, to survive."
"Bullshit."
"You're just like the rest of them," Bellamy spat, "I thought you were different. You're one of the privileged, a Phoenician."
"Hierarchies do not work on earth! I have you and you have me and that's all! No one coming down to save us. No one. And now we have to work with the situation we were thrown at and make the best of it. I couldn't give a damn if you were a Waldentine or the chancellor himself, you are here, on earth."
"What're trying to get at Clarke?"
Clarke let out a frustrated sigh and hit her face, "What I'm trying to say Bellamy-"
"Are you jealous? Is that it? Are you jealous of how I spend my free time, because I'm pretty sure you know what I do."
Clarke was incredulous and Bellamy let out a short laugh
"Oh you're jealous,"he laughed, "And here I was thinking you were different. I'm such an idiot" Bellamy smirked and walked away before Clarke had the chance to speak.
One camper gasped and Clarke swiveled on him, "Well! What're you all standing there for?! Get working! The wall isn't going to build itself"
