What do you say to the girl you love when she forgot only you. You can't tell someone they love you. Love doesn't work that way. I guess life doesn't work that way.
She forgot because I didn't stop her. I was joking and she wouldn't stop. Wouldn't listen. I told her there were rocks in that water. I said, "don't jump." She did. She didn't surface. I saved her but not her memories, and now..... her memories haunt me. They haunt me everyday. I can't escape them....
They have worn me down.
Worn me down to broken. And now I'm trying to pick up the pieces without her.
