Barren grassland as far as the eye can see. There wasn't even much grass, just patches of it here and there surrounded by the dry crumbly mud, which looked as if it hadn't experienced rain in years. But that was probably the case on this deserted island. As Dan stumbled across the muddy plains, he thought back to his life before the Doctor had come and ruined his life. He was sitting contently on his sofa watching youtubers, trying to get inspiration for his next video. Then that madman came and took Phil away from him. He also knew that they were probably looking for that Clara girl rather than him. He looked behind him and saw a whole army of frozen angels with look of pure hatred in their eyes. His life's workout of running was not enough. Dan tried his best to not blink, but he felt his eyes slowly start to close and reopen.
'Shit.' He began to run again but always making sure he could see the weeping figures of doom. He hid inside a massive cave, but he knew that it would be enough and that they will eventually reach him and when they did, Dan would have nowhere to run.

With the wind rushing through his ears and rippling his hair, Phil felt a sense of adrenaline mixed with dread. The thought of saving Dan against aliens was a dream come true but now it was actually happening, Phil thought otherwise. Dan was missing and if they didn't save him in a few days, he would be gone.
'OK! He's not here! That's just 47 more places to go!' The Doctor said. Phil sighed a sigh of desperation. They must find Dan, but would they? After all the planet was massive and full of tiny islands. For all they knew they could be on completely opposite sides from Dan. And that's exactly what happened and neither the Doctor nor Phil knew this at that time.

Minutes, hours or even days could have gone by but Dan would never know as the cave was so dark and he would never go anywhere near the front as he was afraid the weeping angels would be outside, waiting for him. That's why he always made sure that he was at least 5ft away from the entrance. He had made himself at home inside the dank, musty cave; he had lit a small fire and made a bed out of the small amount of grass and trees outside and was lying down testing to see if he could get any service. Nothing. Dan had the overwhelming urge to cry; here he was all alone with nothing but a few trees and a colony angels. He always wished he could go to place with no human interaction but this wasn't EXACTLY how he pictured it. As he his thoughts wandered, Dan started to notice that his breathing had sped up and he was sweating. That was when he realised the fire was going out and that darkness was enclosing him.

The Doctor and Phil were on the 22nd spot the map when the sun started to set.
'Ah. I did not think about sleeping arrangements...' The Doctor said, realising that he hadn't thought about it since he thought they would have found Dan by now.
'Doctor!' Phil panicked as he did not want to sleep in the open where deadly angels could come and get them in a few seconds.
'I'm going to have to call the TARDIS.'
'Call the TARDIS? It's not a person.' Said Phil, flabbergasted by the Doctor's words.
'Oh yes it is. You may not believe it, but it is.'
'OK...' Phil said wondering if what Dan had said about the Doctor being a madman was true.
