'Look! Dan was in the nest all along! This is a win-win situation. And do you know how?' The Doctor asked, glancing at Clara. She shook her head. 'This is a win-win situation because we can save Dan and get rid of the weeping angels at the same time!' He looked over at Clara to see a confused face. This needed an explanation. 'I've tracked Dan down, he's here,' he said, pointing at the dot on the screen, 'So after we've gone and picked him up, I can destroy the weeping angels by using the TARDIS' energy to wipe them out.'
'What if there are people there? It's gonna wipe them out too.' Said Clara. The Doctor looked back at the screen and tried to track down anyone else.
'Aha!' He exclaimed, 'there are only two other people there and they're right next to Dan!' He started the TARDIS up and they were on their way.

'Any luck?' Asuna asked worryingly.
'Nope. My sword cannot cut through the stone.' Kirito replied, trying to cut furiously into the angel.
"Here, try my sword.' She threw her sword at him and he tried again. No luck. Suddenly a wheezing, groaning noise filled the air and the TARDIS materialised in front of them. The Doctor and Clara stepped out.
'Ah! Kirito and Asuna!' The Doctor said, looking around in confusion, 'Where's Dan?' Asked the Doctor. Kirito looked up from his work.
'He's... gone,' Asuna sobbed.
'Do you two have any idea where he went?'
"No, Doctor you don't understa-'
'Oh well! We'll have to look for him afterwards. Come on guys into the TARDIS. You don't want to get vaporised do you?'
'No but Doc-'
'Excellent! Now hurry up! The energy around the TARDIS is getting stronger.' This was when Kirito and Asuna first noticed the blue energy swirling around the TARDIS like fireworks in the night sky. They looked into eachother's eyes and they knew that there was no way that they were going to leave Dan behind. But before they could argue with him, the Doctor was dragging them and Clara up and into the TARDIS.
'No Doctor sto-' The TARDIS doors closed. Standing around the control board, the Doctor pressed some more buttons and flicked some more levers. The sound of the TARDIS' energy got louder and the whole ship started to vibrate and shudder.
'Doctor please stop! Dan is out there! He was turned into an angel!' Asuna cried with tears flowing down her cheeks. 'We can save him!' She tried one last time but the Doctor could not hear her above the noise.
'Three...' He began to count down.
'No!'
"Two...'
'Doctor stop please!' The two warriors tried their best to stop the Doctor in every way possible.
'One...' They tried, desperately, to pull the Doctor away from the controls but they might as well have been pulling a building. It was no use. He was gonna press the button, that would destroy Dan, any minute.
'Now!'
'No!!!' Asuna rushed to the door just to see Dan's angel crumble to dust. 'You murderer!' She screamed, storming towards the Doctor. 'How could you do that?! I tried to warn you multiple times but you did not listen and now look what you've done!' She ran off into the TARDIS, crying like the world had ended. The Doctor watched her run off in confusion. He looked over at Kirito.
'What's up with her?' He asked. Kirito walked right up to the Doctor and whispered in his ear,
'You killed him, Doctor. You killed Dan.'
