The Doctor turned round and headed back to the control board.
'But Dan wasn't there.' He told Kirito.
'Yeah he was - he was an angel.' Kirito said softly.
'No!' The Doctor swung round and leant on the control board. A tear fell onto the keyboard. There was a sudden shake when the TARDIS touched the ground. Asuna came back up, her eyes puffy and bloodshot. 'Get out.' He Doctor told them but they stayed put. 'Get out!!' He yelled. He had never felt like this before, this bubbling rage rising inside of him. His face was turning red. Kirito and Asuna shuffled out awkwardly. 'You too, Clara.' Said the Doctor quietly.
'What? But Doctor-'
'Just go.' Clara didn't want to argue so she followed the couple out of the door. The Doctor started to fiddle with the controls and left the three in the middle of nowhere, crying as he mourned over the losses of that day. I'm never having companions again.
